This is a brief summary of vehicles in the Fallout universe.
Vehicles are good to protect your men. They are very resistant to bullets, but grenades and rockets do high damage.
Vehicles cannot be traded or sold.
They can be repaired by using a repair skill and a toolbox. This shall restore your vehicle's hit points.
The only way to get rid of them is leaving them on a map (not putting a driver inside).
You cannot mount weapons on vehicles, instead you can put another squad member inside and shoot.
Some maps cannot "hold" vehicles. Your vehicle shall not be on a map, but you'll regain it once you leave your map. All inventory from the vehicle shall be lost. (give the items to one character and them at the end of mission put them back on)
Useful tip! Vehicles are very useful on keeping your items, since they have infinite carry weight. If you hate loosing your inventory from vehicles, leave one (scouter or buggy) in base. Put all items there, and once you get back to base, the inventory is full.
