| Description: |
DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this mod is to swap the armor models
of the default BoS power armor with the more familiar
T-51B variant from Fallout 1-2.
INSTALLATION
1: Extract the data folder into your \Fallout3 folder.
2: If this is the only texture mod you are using, then extract the "ArchiveInvalidation.txt" into your Fallout3 folder. (NOT THE DATA FOLDER!) If not, then you should already have one in your FO3 folder and you only need to add the following lines to it:
textures/armor/t-51bpowerarmor/t-51b powerarmor.dds
textures/armor/powerarmor/powerarmorbodyoutcast.dds
textures/armor/powerarmor/powerarmorbodyoutcast_n.dds
textures/armor/bosunderarmor/outfitm.dds
textures/armor/bosunderarmor/outfitf.dds
textures/armor/headgear/bosunderarmorhelmet.dds
3: Open the ini files and alter the "bInvalidateOlderFiles=0" line to "bInvalidateOlderFiles=1".
ISSUES
- There are two gas canisters on the back of the power armor. Not really a problem, as it still look like an integral part of the suit, but still a bug non the less.
- The outcasts' helmet has a wrong texture, and until I find/create the correct dds texture file for the T-51B helmet, I'm afraid it will remain like this.
- Also the outcasts' left glove has the old green color instead of dark.
- I haven't tested the medic and the Lyonn armor, they remain to be seen. |
