Alright, clearly something is wonky with the host. I now cannot access the files and when I login, the new directory is gone.

I actually suggest everyone holding off downloading for at least another 30 minutes (from this post). While everything appears in order now, I am re-uploading the files so if you download right now you'll get a corrupt file.

EDIT: And files are up. Hopefully all is well now. Apparently there was some move with dreamhost (that would explain the loss of all the files I had uploaded) and I happened to upload right in the middle of it all. What timing I have...

Thanks again for the hard work Killap. I will DL and have a look!

Woo, bald badass definately calls for a new playthrough!

Code:
• Vic now correctly has repair as his highest skill for his last 3 level ups.

Is this really a bug? Maybe Vic just figured out you need more than the repair skill to survive in the wasteland and spent his skillpoints in energy weapons which intrigued him? It's not like as the PC you have to keep the same skill highest throughout the game. Or is there like a dev quote somewhere "woops, shoulda given Vic more repair"?

Truly you are a god among men, killap! As are all the modders who contributed pieces to the RP. (Go Bald Guy!) I've been waiting patiently for years for the project to get to this point, and I'm excited to play (despite the fact that I should be preparing for the new school year). I'm really looking forward to playing the bald dude, too. :=)

Thank you all so much for your dedication and hard work on these projects. You're like the Dr. House of modding, diagnosing and healing our loved one, and even improving her quality of life dramatically. Way to go!

(Note: I was able to download both .exe's and both .rar's just fine [03:00 hours PDT].)

-M

[Edit: added deserved accolades for all involved]

Shouldn't Lucas, Arroyo's melee warrior give you a float text when either
a) he teaches you
b) your skill is already high enough

I had the b) version, having my Unarmed a tagged skill + I leveled up in the temple and had it up to 100. Every time I talk to him the dialogue screen pops up and I get the same dialogue options - he offers to give 'warrior's help' - to teach me and then is forced to admit that there's nothing to teach me anymore etc.

If he is not quest-relevant in any way anymore, then shouldn't he also give a float message instead from there on - just like the warrior who teaches you Melee Weapons' skill ?

That's true-thanks for all your free work Cheers

Killap- I didn't get an answer in the last topic to this-it would be nice to have one:

Well yes, but that ends up with abandoning the Broken Hills end.
Did BlackIsle Studio put batter ending film there? If yes perhaps some way to have a Broken Hills good ending can be placed?

To this(or is the debug massage fix concerns this):
And about fixes I belive there should be some massage(just one as you get normally during combat) about broken limbs in Modoc and Ghost Farm. I made many quests wandering why my companions don't fight-I fought that there is some kind of major bug or error with them. Later something pop to my head to check them with look options and they had all broken limbs Shocked . It would be nice to have a massage after falling down(I checked-no massage).

And partly about that:
Ohh-yes Nirran-is your book mod is fully compatible with Restoration Project 2.1.2? If yes I think Killap can give it a thought to add that one to installer- after all if you can get a bit skilled with gun by just knowing the gun lore so why can you get a lockpick skill by just knowing the locks all around, and so on. I'll still say that although many should have the book option not necessary all-for example finding a book about stealing, sneak or barter could be a little out of balance.
And about the installation - I only install your mod over RP? Or should I install sfall as well? Or is it in RP install?

Maybe not something important, but I found a little problem:
There are two batch files about removing .pro files of extra NPCs in the main folder, but while running uninstaller there's an error message says DAT2 is missing. And the proto files are still in master.dat.

Two things, are some of the junkies in Den supposed to attack you at random ? One just did, sadly I don't have a save game of that. It screamed "You killed my son !" and started punching me, nobody else went hostile though. It was quite funny Laughing

And another, just a typo really, marked it in red:

@Gaspard

I think some junkies in Den can/will attack you at random. They are just so fu%&ed up by drugs that they don't know what they are doing. So no bug there.

Bah, yeah that's a minor issue. I'm not sure why you chose to run that file though (oh, unless you were uninstalling the RP). Basically, it is run when you uninstall the RP to ensure that everything is cleaned up to the way the game was before. Since there is no dat2.exe, it can't remove the RP protos. Honestly, don't worry about it and just reinstall he game if you truly don't want to play with the RP.

Yes, junkies attack at random.

Found something else: in NCR after telling Gunther about the spy and showing him the disc I get my reward, but Feargus is not taken away and instead walks away as if you told him that there's a spy and you've got proof.

Check Per's guide for location endings.

So, NPCs should give off floats when they are injured in anyway. I'm confused why this doesn't seem to happen for some people.

I'll consider adding mods like this to the extras section at a later time.

I give installation instructions in the first post of this thread. If you already have the RP installed, just install this ontop. Don't install anything else unless you know what you are doing. sfall already comes with the RP, so don't install that separately.

Post all potential issues to the RP bug report wiki and provide a save game.

@everyone
I'm going to re-upload the RP install to fix the uninstall issue. Very minor and totally not important, but I do want people to be able to remove the RP without having to reinstall the whole game again.
