You have the damnedest things in America.
Fuck, I'm sick. My whole body is hurting. So what do I do? Play some more ME3 or watch Captain America? Can't decide. I feel fucking awful and don't want to spoil my watching experience. _________________

Yeah, nothing being offered interested me so I didn't go out.
There are two stores around here, one doesn't participate because the manager says it doesn't bring in any people to buy stuff, just termites who wouldn't even read comic books to begin with but will take any free stuff. (He's a fun guy.) Then the other store usually gets a lot of people just hanging around in a store that's basically the size of a closet. Not worth it. Plus I can't go back to the closet sized store because the owner ordered me stuff, which I didn't ask him to, and I never went to pick it up... that was back in 2009. I know, that's the owner's problem that he ordered stuff I didn't ask him to, but I don't feel comfortable going back there. Plus it's all changed into some silly horror goth theme. So, eh.

Thanks, voof. We'll see how my night goes, I guess. Just coughing (and the pain all over) and no runny nose so far but it's probably coming. Can't wait! I know my luck, I'll be totally miserable tomorrow and just dandy on Monday so that my weekend is ruined and I have to go to work anyway. But enough about me. How are things? Better yet,

It seemed like they were trying too hard to be funny at the expense of characterization. This is basically true of everything that Whedon has a hand in writing and it's one of the reasons I don't like him very much.

Also, the death of Agent Coulson was one of those moments where you just have to sigh because you knew it was gonna happen and it doesn't really serve any good purpose. I mean, loads of other SHIELD agents died as a result of Loki's meddling, but the only person who matters is a guy who seriously shouldn't have done what he was doing in the first place
Also, this one is personal and definitely me just being a finicky asshole, but I really, really hated those fucking scenes where Nick Fury is arguing with those faces on the screens. It's probably because my favorite Nick Fury is the one that Garth Ennis writes (the one who whipped a four-star General unconscious with his belt, got drunk on bourbon in a bar and called a bunch of guys faggots for no good reason) but that just was stupid how he didn't even get mad at them for all the stupid things they said and did.
It was all just stuff that niggled away at my enjoyment, especially when everyone else in the theatre was clapping at the stuff I was sighing at. _________________

I feel you. The spoiler you posted was one of my complaints as well. It was totally expected too, so it meant nothing. Why was he there anyway? Unless they pull a LMD plot? I also agree on Fury. Jackson should have brought more to that role. They definitely didn't utilize him right. Tony Stark constantly cracked jokes the whole fucking movie to the point of absurdity. I found that pretty irritating. Shawarma!? It met my expectations, but it failed in a few ways. I think I expected more from Loki for some reason. Hiddelston played him perfectly though. Overall I liked it better than all the other Marvel movies, but Iron Man may still be my favorite. It's hard to tell at this point. _________________

Though I do think I prefer white Nick Fury.
Don't know why, maybe it's because Ultimate Nick Fury is borderline insane while white Nick Fury once ordered a dozen Asian prostitutes for his hotel suite. _________________

I have just returned of sitting on a bench and peering at the moon while listening to music. It was most impressive when it first rose while I was working, luckily my section was the patio and I enjoyed the view.
Cream has made some enjoyable music. Oh and now I segue into Coolio's Gangster's Paradise, most fantastic.
Also, to those who are interested, my spoof of Neil Young's Cortez the Killer - Farmerk the Spiller - is now viewable as someone finally got around to reviewing my protests of not infringing any copyrights. I win this time youtube, I win this time.
