Hello all a long time lurker here but finally decided to post to ask a question. Are the endings based on the date when you finish the game or do they only activate if you go to a map where the mutant invasion has started?

For example I finished the game and got the invasion ending for necropolis, although I fixed the water pump and finished the chip quest in under 60 days, never returning to necropolis. After that I finished the glow, wandered to find some special encounters, got the bos operations etc, ultimately finishing the game in july. Shouldn't I have also gotten the invasion endings for the hub and the followers?

The invasion endings are triggered on entering the respective maps (when they are scheduled to have been invaded).

Weird, because like I said I never reentered the necro map again and still got the ending. Come to think of it I killed the mutants at the watershed but the quest was never crossed out and I never got anything from Set, probably has something to do with it. Dunno if that is just something that happens in the game or maybe with the fixit mod.
