Voofs stuff motivated me again to upload something as well. But most of it are sketches though.

So enjoy. I will add more stuff to it in the future.

*Sadly my Scaner is pretty shit. I should "clean" them with photoshop, but it would take quite some time. Maybe one of my teachers which is teaching us as well in using photoshop knows a fast way, I am going to ask him that tomorrow.

anyway enjoy!

Applause

Niiice. Your stuff is great as always. The one with the woman looks a little weird with the proportions, but who I am I criticize. More please!

Doing some Fallout stuff would be awesome.

Very cool stuff Crni.

I'm getting a serious Giger vibe off that one picture.

I had no idea you were so versatile. Fantasy (both dark and traditional), mecha/sci-fi, cartoony... I've lived with a lot of artists, and I haven't often seen that kind of range. That dragon was practically photo-realistic. I think you could do Fallout some real justice, personally.

I like the two last ones, but especially the 2nd last, despite not having a single clue what I'm looking at. I like... the lines and shapes... nice soothing... lines and shapes :I

I can't believe your so casual about Crni. They look great!

For the various people trying their hand at art around here could you tell us (or maybe it's just me) how much education you have in art and also how much time you practiced?

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Great stuff, Crni.
Are all of those allegorical representations of the "Serbian" slaying the "Muslim"?

education? Not much. Nothing that goes further then school. And art classes in school usually suck, they tend to push people away from doing art. I mean good teachers in art are so damn rare. Many of them might be even pretty skilled, but they have no clue how to motivate their students and how to encourage them to be creative. Nothing is so fraggile then our self confidence when it comes to art. They show you masterpieces and references and you always believe that could never do that. And obviously when you try it for the first time, you fail, and you simply stop to care about it and you might even get bad grades as well.

Practise? Heh, not enough. It never is I suppose. Well but to say that, its for me more then some sideline. I really want to be a professional (llustrations, concept art etc.) one day. But there are many very skilled and great illustrators/artists out there. In my school (graphic design) there are many talented and really very skilled people. But the great thing is that particularly my class is full with very good students and many have quite some talent, even our teachers told us that our class is a bit special here comared to some other classes. It somehow motivates you to keep up with that standart. Pushing your limits when ever it is possible.

I guess I cant tell you much about time though, drawing and art is something I do since I can hold a pencil. Doesnt mean you cant learn it though. All you need is patience - the really difficuilt part. You might think that I am "great", but compared to professionals, its rather average I would say. I mean there are many people out there which need art like the oxygen to breathe. Hence why I think I dont have enough practise. All the people which I know and are professionals tell me, that you have to do art all the time.

Heh like everyhing in life, its only about practise.

You just need to learn how to use Image->Adjustments->Curves and you'll just need 30 seconds of fiddling with the curve to get a nice black line on uniformly white background.

Levels is good at doing this too.

I'd desaturate also because the process exagerated the already bluish tone of the scanner

PS : the robot is awesome

Seriously impressed Crni! Your technique doesn't surprise me, more so the abstract nature of your doodles. And like Yamu said; versatile.
