mrm not mean to be rude, but your question is really out of the topic ...

I however have no idea how that happened, i downloaded the FT improver several times and in none of my scheduled scans a virus was detected. well things for you to consider:

a) from where you downloaded this FT Improver ? i would not recommend downloading it from any source outside of this site.

b) are your anti-spyware defenses up to date ? trojans are the most typical threats used by hackers, and should one get access to your computer they could add one of those virus delete stuff ... etc.

I think, this not out of of topic because it about the FTimprover.

First i thought about, some virus infected my FTImprover but then i downloaded it directly from his page again but Antivir found it again. I also checked it with VirusTotal https://www.virustotal.com/file/cd1eb6ab8eff124bbae02afdcdb14d7936304fe38f45708682f90f4417d910a5/analysis/1342912362/. I don't believe it is really a Trojan but i don't want to overlook it. It is a great tool i still want to work with it.

after your reply I scanned (with microsoft essentials) the improver.exe just in case, but was not infected. Not sure if it is the case. but perhaps your improver.exe was infected by another virus. some types of viruses can do that, as for the win32/sality.Am

or ... In case the download file available here is indeed infected we could request a new link i guess.
