Though most of it has nothing to do with fallout.

This was fun to work on, and then she got *really* upset when she saw it, so double-win for me.

A technique I got really stuck on for a while.

Some urbex...which is about as close to true "fallout fan art" as I'm likely to get.

I don't know what this is, in a pigeonholing sense. It's fun to make though.

Those are some nice locations. He's got a good eye for framing, too.

Not to sound like a pretentious critical jerk, but I'm not overly fond of HDR photos; the line between enough HDR and way too much HDR is hard for most photographers to recognize.

I personally can't do it without going too far.

I'd love to see his raw shots before he processes them. Thanks for the link Smile

Is there a name for a technique with this branches and leaves (if I'm guessing it right)? I quite like those pictures.
Can't say the same about the urbex, though. Last two are okay, but the first two not that much. They remind me a lot of my elementary school's basement Razz
However, the last post's pictures are amazing. I love pictures like that. They are so prone to personal interpretation, which does vary a lot, kinda like Rorschach test. All 4 are amazing, but I just love the last, red one. Amazing. Moar please.

There might be a name for it, but If there is, I'm unaware of it.

And yes, it's mostly branches and leaves. Smile

The urbex (mine anyway) isn't my favorite either, in raw form.

I do use shots from my urbex trips as source material to make the ones in the last set though, so it pays off.

I'm big on abstract art because of the interpretation issue you mention. Rarely the same reaction to any given image from different people.

It's called "flip image X" then "flip image Y" Smile

I like the third mirrorflippy one the most. The second would be cooler without the filter IMO.

Yeah, I noticed that. To be honest, some of these images, especially the last two (edit: of the older image), remind me of some of H. R. Giger's works...which is great.
Though I could be the only one who sees the similarity.

Can't say I'm big on it, but I do like seeing some specific abstract art. Most of the abstract stuff I've seen just don't work for me, but I do really like these works of yours.

Thanks Wooz. Smile

I agree about the filter, it was actually a kluge...I was working with a 4mp camera and had to blow it up to a 30x40 inch print. Something had to be done to keep it from being pixel hell. Filters were a compromise, since I was working with Photshop 3.

Thanks Smile I like his work a lot.

I meant I'm big on making it, not so much on appreciating it. Laughing I'm a picky bastard when it comes to what I'm want to hang on a wall I had to look at more than once.

I loved the urban exploration pics. I used to do that stuff all the time. Mostly just caves and rain drainage tunnels around here, nothing nearly that awesome.

Really nice urban exploration pics. The art isn't bad either.

You got props from Wooz who is the most outstanding artist here!

Sincerely,

I've got more from that site, here. Right before I got there somebody (not me) burned most of it down.
