i think im one of only a few who really want FO4 in London, UK. with all those miles of tube systems and amazing sights i think it would be perfect - who would be housed in those tubes - other than ghouls of course? maybe there's still a couple of trains running somehow - or possibly flooded from the thames with irradiated water.
could you imagine helping a faction take over and blow up the houses of parliament and do what guy fawkes never could? or would you prefer to stop the bomb and keep the buildings in one piece?
the london eye; would it still be standing or would it have come crashing down? who would it house? would you need to fix it as part of a quest and get it moving again?
i get just a little bit excited just thinking about it!! _________________

| I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that point. Mostly because I think The Institue, located near the "Commonwealth", would be the most comforting place, given it's mysterious back ground. Believe me, you are not alone on this idea, however. |

It's background is pretty mysterious, because it doesn't have one. _________________

Or maybe a sequel to New Vegas, Fallout: Mojave Nights _________________ I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign

| If there was a Fallout Game set in England, I would rather that it focused on stuff like the plan by the goverment to quarantine the big cities, and use the army to keep people from escaping into the contryside (which I think would involve killing them), rather than just stuff to do with the landmarks, like blowing up the houses of parliament, which wouldn't really make sense considering there's no reason to do that, and the original attempt was more to do with king James and religion in england rather than just blowing up the houses of parliament. |

Wish I could do my idea for Fallout Texas (or Fallout Lone Star, no idea what title I would use) which I am trying to work out as a sequel to Fallout New Vegas.
Perhaps arrogant of me but unless Obsidian gets to handle a new Fallout again I think its up to us fans to think of 'true' Fallout games. _________________

Heh heh, definitely not Space balls.
More like the Lone Star from Texas' flag and state's nickname "The Lone Star State" _________________

It's apparently habitable to some extent by the events of Fallout 3; to the point where people can take trips there. At the same time, it is stocked full of raider and tribal types.
Also, Synths, The Institute (believed to be MIT by fans; a place famous for its world-changing graduates; such as the very real Buzz Aldrin and the fictional Mr. House), and the Railroad (an antislavery organization of extreme secrecy, it seems); among other things.
It seems like the Mojave in many respects, and would probably make for a good setting.

No thanks...let's just leave it in the U.S. of A. where it belongs. |
Same. Fallout wouldn't really work outside of the U.S, what with the Vaults and FEV experiments by the Government. _________________ I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign

Fallout in England would be interesting just for the sake of the Lore and post apocalyptic traditions of England imagined by the creators.
But it wouldn't be as awesome as a Fallout set in USA.
EDIT: I'm really curious about Russia in Fallout xD _________________ "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter." |

I played STALKER and it's Ukraine, not Russia. But both languages sound similar for the non-speakers i suppose.
Metro 2033 has some nice post-apocalyptic living methods.
Imagine putting all these post apocalyptic games together to compare survival methods. I think it's pretty impressive. Retro futuristic USA, underground living Russia, Ukrainian stalkers hunting for artifacts. _________________ "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter." |

Eh, i don't think Fallout should leave it's setting in the wastelands of the U.S
I mean, the whole game is based around the 1950's American vision of the future, if anything the next Fallout should put us somewhere new in the U.S. possibly the South as we haven't seen much of it in any Fallout game. |

| If it is set in the South, I'd love to see the Gulf make an appearance. Imagine the type of things that would lurk in the irradiated Gulf and the surrounding swamp lands of the South. |
