A drape is a stupid name Americans call curtains. I don't know why and frankly I don't care why.
Curtains are cool, you can use them to control how much external light goes into a room. I'm a weird person who lives by myself so I don't let in much external light.
Also for privacy. Please close your curtains, no one wants to see what you are doing. Well I guess some type of criminal or creep would.
Curtains can also be used as part of a shower to keep water from splashing over the bathroom floor. Don't do this, they get gross and glass panels are always better.
They are also a good if somewhat lazy place to hide behind in a game of hide and seek.
Blinds are stupid and you should use curtains instead.
Sometimes windows have two curtains. A Translucent one in front to let some light in and keep privacy and another one to block out light. This is how you should have curtains.

I wouldn't know about that, I only pay the hookers for sex, not for their pictures. But it sure beats having to lie to be allowed to project some sperm somewhere.
