OK! So, we're still in a tunnel, and you know what? Nothing interesting is going on in this tunnel. It's a conveyor belt to more derp. So screw this crap, and let's fast forward to the surface!
We emerge here, one path seems to be a dead end, and there's an artifact so that's where I'm going.
Defeat some dwellings and stuff, capture a mine that turns yellow so there's a town near owned by the inquisition.

That was pretty good...
You think so? I liked it too, my dear...

Yes, Bluebeak. My mind is growing stronger.
I lost some creatures there against the vampires, but now I can just ressurect them back at base. Cool.
I find another mass grave and head on down southwest.
I suuuck your blooood, BLEEEEIIIGH!
Next, I find some kniggets blocking my path, they flee but I pursue. These guys do more damage the longer they move before attacking. In earlier games this was pretty exploitable. The damage could be pretty silly. But the AI doesn't know how to make use of this and just stands still and pokes away with their lances.
This building appears to be an arena. Kind of nifty idea to get to do a training battle with no losses. It's actually kind of challenging this one. Also the award is pretty good.

Craaaaaaaaaw

I heard you the first five times, Aunt Sveltana. When we get to the prison, I stay outside... (This is not as derp as it sounds, I wasn't frapsing quick enough, Sveltana says something before this line. I think.)

This is not a joking matter, Anastasya. In spite your growing powers, this is no ordinary prison, and it's holding no ordinary prisoner! Jorgen might very well be the monster who controlled your mind.

I understand. Just remember to ask him a few questions before you turn him into a ghoul!

If Jorgen's truly in league with the Faceless, it will be he who asks the questions. I'm counting on you to give the right answers.
What. The. Fuck. The Faceless is one of my faourite tech death bands though.

Darkness questioning shadows...
Bluebeak is the first pot/kettle knight in HOMO VI.

What? Me? Aunt Sveltana?
Oh hi Inquisitor. I beat him easily.
Some friendly skeletal spearmen who gave me a quest to find a list that would free them from something. And also allows me to recruit the upgraded skeletons, yay.

We were counted by Kilburn... he put us on a list... the list became our death.

These skeletons are stronger than most... It semms that some great betrayal.... or sadness... has disrupted the cycle, and their bones may not rest until the curse is lifted.

Why can't I just use my power and force them to follow me?

Power and force. The path of Pavel...
Words of wisdom.

You could. I am proposing a harder path, Stasia. If you enlist your dead willingly, they will return to Asha in peace when the time has come. Find the list that has cursed them... and they'll follow you.
Necromancers used to be cool.

The inquisition has taken many prisoners, but there's no sign of Jorgen.

I can't believe they're accusing Jorgen of killing my father. He was his favourite councilor.

Whether Jorgen is implicated or not... we need to know.
Ummm... yes? That's what we need to know.

Jorgen must know something or they wouldn't be keeping him.
I wouldn't count on these guys acting all rational since they were just recently seen dumping fully armed and armoured (and living) soldiers into a mass grave.
It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum.
Catapult doesn't hit gates, crap. I've got ghosts though, they'll fly right through the walls.
Griffins come out and attack my ghouls, they're probably headed for my archers in the long run, so it's good to kill them off before they block the archers. Archers do shit damage in hand to hand, iirc.
My ghosts go in and block the enemy archers and kill a few though. I want them ganged up on so I can heal them and leech off of all the neighbouring stacks.
ghouls kill som grifs
Skeletons finish them
Some Vespas or whatever have come out to play, but they're invulnerable now, the Haven special ability is a one or two turn invulnerability.
The ghosts have killed som more crossbows, ghouls kill sentinels who've also come out the gates.
Every fucking thing has come out those gates by now, except some crossbows.
Perfect wail of the netherworld moment.
Splat. 26 ghouls resurrected.
Invunerable sisters block my skellies.
Finishing up
I win! I get a bunch of artifacts from the defeated hero as well.

Not my son!!!! No!!! Leave him alone!!! Kill me, leave Sander alone!!! He is innocent!! I know nothing of the Faceless!

Her
staff mind is broken...

Elisabeth... You are safe now. It's me... Sveltana...

Sveltana! They've got Sander!

She's been put to the question. Look at these wounds. She needs a healer...

A healer probably did this to her.

They've broken her mind and body... This is how our Holy priests of Light go about finding the truth.

Abuse of this sort is abhorred by Elrath... It was Uriel's first lesson. This cannot be the Angel's work.

We're jsut below a Falcon Prison...

This stinks of Emperor Liam. Father never liked him.
Vendetta! Vendetta!

Imagine what they would have done to you if your brother hadn't given you a swift and painless execution. Something smells rotten in the holy falcon empire... I need to find out what is goind on.
Hehe. Oh man.

I know that look, Sveltana. I'm going to sharpen my beak.
No, say it's not so Bluebeak! Not you and Aunt Sveltana!

I'm taking Elisabeth back to my castle. I need to see the Mother Namtaru. Wait for me here with the army.

Yes! If Sander discovers what they've done to his mother, I pity those who are responsible.

Pity only the innocent, Anastasya. The guilty always had a choice.
I get a shitload of experience for freeing Elisabeth, and put a point into archery II, which boosts the ranged damage with each attack until the stack is attacked in hand to hand or moves. The other I put in Lightning Bolt, because I thougt the dazed effect I can add to it might be cool. Turns out it's not very cool. Whatever.
Next episode we'll start searching for that list, and defeat some incading Inquisitors.
