There's a pair of fanmade film efforts that are worth noting.
First, bishaway let us know about Fallout: Terra Australis, offering an announcement trailer with the outline but not showing much in the way of actual footage.
Further along is the Fallout: Houston project, which Duck and Cover has been following. You can see a ton of props and footage here, and they recently released a new trailer.
In other news, Life has an awesome series of photos taken shortly after a Nevada/Yucca Flat nuclear test on a model town (t/c Kotaku).

I can't say much on Fallout: Terra Australis other than that they got some of their facts wrong. (where was North Korea's involvement in the war ever mentioned?) but regarding Fallout Houston, I hope the makers intended it to be a parody but I stopped taking them serious the moment I saw that ridiculously modified car.
It looks more like something of those PA racing games they released on the PC and consoles years ago than something from Fallout. _________________

So far, I've not seen a single fanfilm that really oozed "Fallout" for me. All I saw was either gunporn, goreporn or taking the ridicolous humour of Fallout 2 to the extreme. _________________
I laughed at those miniatures and their names. It's just so thinly veiled, it's almost embarassing. Although I do want a "Technical Wizard" miniature. Father Elijah's the best villain in Fallout: New Vegas and I want a little figure of him for decorative purposes. _________________ Now my avatar makes even less sense.

They've had the Soldier in Power Armour and Wasteland Sniper around for a few years so could be a while yet, considering Games Workshop is way worse and it's ripping of them as well.
The "Ant" Soldier looks bitchin' though. Swap out the lame plasma rifle for something decent. _________________ I shall use the pointy sticks of SCIENCE!

I think Australia/Oceania is a whole new ball game, I don't think there is much wrong with adding new historical elements to the canon. Regardless its just merely a back story that we are going with at the moment, as the 2nd slide states, it may change.
