Good thing. Made my original Fallout disc into a fidget spinner but wanted to replay it sometime soon.

Will it actually work after the 24 hours are up or only for the duration?

If you add it to your Steam account it will remain yours forever.

Good thing too, I only had 3 copies of it already. Very important to have back-ups.

3 different hardcopies, own the game on GOG.com too... I hate Steam with a passion... Oh well, it's free!

Still rocking the original big box. Haven't touched it in years, though. I never uninstalled Fallout.

20 years, and yet still I cri everytiem

On a completely unrelated note, I also just realized that it's been over 14 years since I first registered here at NMA. #FeelsOldMan

Last time I played Fallout 1 was back in 2009. And I'm not gonna replay it until it's playable in the Fo2-engine

I know a lot of improvements Fallout 2 brought would definitely spoil you, but it's not like they a complete 180 of each other, like FO3 vs. NV did.

In fact, due to Sfall, most of the important improvements in Fo2 are now available in Fo1 as well. The only thing missing is pretty much the new companion interface, but for that you still got the regular dialog options. Other than that there isn't really a big difference anymore.
