How did you finish it? Did you kill the Think Tank, or spare them (for what reason/why?)?
    Did you spare Mobius?
Did you come to an agreement with your brain? (or not)

Personally, I spared them, but would've liked to think I kept them isolated- I thought Mobius was correct (He's one of my new favourite characters!)in imprisoning them (and wiping their memories).

OH, and I took my brain back.

    What did you all do?

I convinced my brain (?) that we are a winning team together and brought him back home. I tricked the Think Tank into thinking that the Courier was actually controlled by Mobius and I convinced to stay inside with an appeal to "our" friendship.

I spared Mobius, he's a funny and caring (in his own way) guy. It makes me sad that he's sacrificing himself for his friends. :(

Yep, and along with his heavy addiction is still managing to do that, and build endless amounts of really tough robots (and the sink personalities) as well. He was by far and away the best character for me in this (and perhaps out of all the dlc's so far)

okay. Did you massacre them because you disliked them/couldn't not kill them/etc...

I did it because they cut out my spine, my heart, and my brain for pretty much no reason. They're jerks.
[spoiler:5f121996a6]Plus one of those guys made Cazadores. Then he had the audacity to say they didn't exist outside of the Big Empty.[/spoiler:5f121996a6]
What did you have to do in order to not kill them? I didn't really care to find out. I just wanted to murder them.

Well to be fair, because of Mobius, he didn't know what 'outside the Big mt' was (and a good thing too).

To reason with them, you have to either have a really high speech skill (75) and science/medicine (100/85), or do all the personal quests for Dr.8, Dala, Borous and 0, in their favour (i.e. no hacking of 8), which would force Klein to listen to his colleagues and get him to give up to you.

Maybe so, but they shouldn't have created the damn things in the first place. "Hey, what would happen if we made the creature with one of the most painful stings on earth 100 times larger?"

Ahh. I could have passed all of those checks except for the Medicine one. I didn't do any of their personal quests as well, although I'm going to do that in my next OWB playthrough. I'm pretty sure I'm still going to kill them, though.

I did the personal quests for the think tank so I got them ganging up on Klein. Gave the weak willed doctors a spine despite them nicking mine.
I mainly did it because under their insanity you can see the original people underneath so didn't want to kill them.
Also spared Mobius because he was frankly awesome.

I'll admit, Borous is my least favourite because of that- he made the cazadors to see how people and creatures would fare (essentially, for the lulz). This is part of why Mobius tried to imprison them.

You don't have to pass the medicine one, just either the science or medicine (AND speech)

yes, getting to know the real them was cool. even 8, who somehow my character could understand. Except maybe Dala, who 'climaxes' energy cells onto you.

    Definitely Mobius as well.

He did it for the lulz? Well... I actually don't mind it as much now. The lulz is a noble cause.

Got my brain back (despite my best efforts), saved the Think Tank by forging an alliance with them (hearing Klien call me 'partner' was so satisfying) and killed Mobius (because I uphold my alliances).

    huh? (with the brain part)

Well he says it grudgingly, but at least it's honourable to uphold your promises.

That brain was an arsehole, I don't want something else sentient in my head.

I don't think he says it grudgingly, I helped all of the other Think Tanks and said that I would bring the Mojave back to him. IIRC:

"I... I would like that. Alright, the Think Tank of Big MT is at your service... partner."

He really sounds like he's come to some realisation, like the others do when you help them.

RE Mobius, as you can tell I like some pretty bad people, ultimately I respect loyalty; I love it when bad guys are actually people with a cause and show friendship and commradarie with each other, not when they lobotimise each other for some "greater good" which certainly didn't trouble Mobius before the bombs.

He did it after the bombs (to my knowledge, they all became think tanks, were all friendly to each other in the main dome, then Mobius left upon the others' decision to experiment on the remaining residents of the mojave and elsewhere). The brainwashing was to keep them from wreaking havoc, and so that he wouldn't have to kill them.

But I suppose this wouldn't change your opinion- it's still admirable to stick with your friends no matter what.

To be fair the think tanks weren't allowed to experiment on people outside the Big MT before the war, and they've all gone a little bit crazy in the 200 years since the bomb dropped. Dr. Mobius isn't doing what he's doing for the "Greater good" he's doing it for the only good.

Yes they were. The Sierra Madre is a perfect example of them experimenting before the war.

I also went with this ending

Though the Think Tank had its funny side, like Mobius said, they weren't very good people, even when they were still people.

Yet killing them, well I am a good guy at heart so I decided to that containing them within the Big MT would be the best, making them continue to work on research that could one day benefit the wasteland, but not letting them out to actually experiment on it.

Its a shame there is no ending in which the player joins the Think Tanks, becoming one himself/herself, with the ending frame scene showing us how SCIENCE! radically changed the Mojave and everyone who lived in it.

Don't forget the disastrous meteorological experiment at Hopeville/The Divide.

Mobius may have become a bit more ethical but he and his team are still responsible for what happened there.
He probably erased those events from his memories.

Talk to Borous, he says that they were paid by corporate to test on "unsuspecting AMERICANS!" Test cities they refer to them as.

Stick to your guns and your friends, Mobius aparently grew a heart from knowhere and lobomised them to keep them stuck in an endless loop whilst the Biogel slowly erroded them; hardly the way to treat fellow compatriots.
