Nudity in every single frame except the title page?!
Ban this sick filth!
I've added some new pages.
I'll just be updating/editing the OP, 'cause that'll read easier.
As long as you bump the thread so we can see the updates I guess :p
How much do you redraw for every panel and how much is copied from a template of the scene?
Or do you trace over a template each time?
I knew this question would pop up sooner or later.
Every panel is drawn and inked by hand. I used the very first panel ("Whoa! Check out that vista!") as a template for the rest of the comic, but nothing has been copy-pasted. The color separation is also done by hand. I scan both the linework and the color separation and then put them together with - wait for it - PaintShop Pro 8. I do this because I don't like working on computers and also because it gets a little messy when you do everything by hand, which is something I like.
Added some new pages.
That will be all.
Added pages 18, 19 and 20.
Good to see your content again. I always loved your style.
Welcome back man!
We always appreciate you sharing your art with us.
You are top niche.
So I guess there's a reason to browse this area of the forum now.
You are an artist, sir!
Added pages 21, 22 and 23.
Thanks, Serge. Just an expert doodler, though.
I thought about posting this over at The Order, but I reckoned this little project needed a quiet little place on the internet.
Ten more pages and I'm done.
Added pages 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28.
Phew. Almost there.
Just thought I'd share that with you.
Thanks for sharing.
You gonna put it out in print?
Print? It deserves to be etched in stone!
Yeah, I'll go to a copy center tomorrow and make a few mini comics, just to give to friends and family.
This was merely an exercise before tackling 'the real work', though. This was all about finding the right way to get things done. The next project is a tad longer, will start in September and will be called 'Goodbye'.
You have somehow made existential problems "Grounded". "get it?"
I applaud this most brave effort.
