I've yet to play an open-world RPG where my endgame character doesn't have money to buy a kingdom.
system shock remake, routine and system shock 3.
Phoenix point, hopefully it will offer something interesting and new mechanic among all existing x-com successor since julian gollop direct it.
Currently going through KCD. Got my ass handed to me by Runt.
As for games, Yakuza 6, Metro Exodus and @eissa brings up a game I ought to take note of seeing how I enjoyed Xenonauts.
Shame about the development currently being on hiatus: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2018/02/16/system-shock-remake-development-being-refocused/
Runt is easy if you use masterstroke (Perfect riposte, you can learn it from the captain trainer) and using feint with no more than two strike at the time (unless you planned to do combo). Bringing shortsword is also a good idea since your attack will be harder to parry and much faster. Or cheats, aka using alchemy like me. Was quite fun, i had to restart the whole combat since he is down in two strike thanks to the perfect riposte that also double as Fehler mittlehau
Prologue Runt, I meant. Just got the game.

Here are other tb tactics games that look interesting
NMA needs to talk about tb tactics games more.
Do expansions count? A new expansion for my favorite game of 2016, Grim Dawn, is going to be released late this year.
Best part is that i'm a beta tester for the game.
I'm really looking forward to Far Cry 5, hoping they don't fk it up, i used to play FC1 wayy back, then FC2 and FC3, took em as simple arcade shooters and enjoyed them. I didn't play primal tho, i dont like the setting
Also Mount & blade Bannerlord, played hundreds of hours of Warband
yeah all 3 of those are going to be awhile from now. but hey at least were getting Prey DLC this year (hopefully)
