with a world ravaged by nuclear destruction itd be nice to see some better enviroment happenings

like crazy acid rain, or just rain
    lightening
    wind
maybe papers and tumbleweeds blowing across the wastes

i know a storm would be hard to handle due to never being able to see a horizon

Im often impressed by all those ambient sounds i heard in tactics, like the sounds of shifting sheet metal and what not
and itd be great to actually see too

With the new engine in play, these kind of environmental happenings are quite possible. Some people, however, seem to shy away from the whole horizon view in the fallout world.... I guess it wouldn't be the same, or something. I do like the idea of tumbleweeds.

I think more emphasis on radiation and toxins would be good, and fit in well with the setting. Like in certain areas, radx should be required to survive (and not just in places like the glow). Id like to see some kind of hazmat suit in the game aswell.

I always liked the idea of the radioactive twisters, i think cassidy talked about them?

"I hear they got twisters miles wide in the east" or something liike that, he said. I would like to see rain and flying papers and stuff like that too, wouldn't that be neat, eh?

I would like to see some mutated cacti or more hiddous killer plant life that would have survived.

Radioactiv twisters! OK, that gets my imagination going.
The lack of environmental dangers kinda bothered me as well. You should need more RadX, it should be a vital component of cross-wasteland travel. And more areas like the Glow would be nice. Sure the radiation has become less with the passing of time but certain leaks in certain nuclear reactors etc...

And stuff like the EPA`s toxic lake I would like to see on a map-large basis. The Salt Lake filled with green stuff... Yeah!

Sandstorms are a beautiful part of a desert environment as well... Known to make certain parts of the Saharas inaccessable for months.

Yeah, I brought up the idea of incorporating not just the U.S. into Fallout 3 but also the rest of the world (at least most of it) as well. Since its a global nuclear holocaust, I would like to see a lot more places other than just the U.S. and also the acid rain thing would look really cool. Toxic rain on a desolate wasteland. And you can see your character power armor speckle with rain. But this all has to be in 2D not 3D mind you.

Fallout is 2D not 3D, the thought of 3D is ludicrous and should be totally discredited because Fallout is 2D.

That was unecessary to bring up, that topic has been discussed extensively over and over, and people farther more eloquent than you have given their points of view, no need to derail another thread.

I was thinking that there should definetly be some damn twinkies in the world of fallout. They must have survived. This would lighten up the tone of the game a little.

Yeah have effects from the environment hazards and weather patterns too like mutations or good/bad diseases and such.

Post.Count++ farming dealt with, as if you could make it any more obvious by gravedigging to post what basically consists of "I agree". Are you now happy with what you've earned, since you obviously didn't understand anything you were told otherwise?

Yes... They have been lacking enviromental hazards... You just seem to collect Rad-X for just peddling on the streets....

I would love to see something that should have been in Fallout 1 to begin with... a biker gang similar to Mad Max or the original PC puzzle adventure game Full Throttle. This could be great a fully functional biker faction that hangs out at casinos, diners, and broken down gas stations/motor-cycle garages. There could be multiple motor-cycle gangs that have missions available to you after you find a way to sway their respect level for you, and best of all motor-bike shootouts.

Biker gangs.... Real 50's feel. Greasers.

And what about ghoulish soda jerks?

More cannibalism. I mean, I am sure Iguana Bob wasn't the only man doing a soylant green bid by using human meat as stuffing for his iguanas on a stick?

Umm there were dis assembled motorized vehicles everywhere they just didn't work, but my point is there should have been these types of basic gameplay elements from the start of the series. It envokes so many Mad Max references of pop culture that it should have been there since Fallout 1. It's the ultimate gameplay system to enjoy. I'd love it every positive suggestion to this idea no matter how out there is welcome with me.
