Nah looks like there is some sort of saddle..hopefully..
That's how he likes it.
I hope they didn't de-spine the dino. That would be like shortening the tail of rottweilers, inhumane.
Not really dinosaur-related but since we already talked about the "Hobbit people" in this thread, I guess it's ok.
Almost there... Almost there...
It be radical if we could clone some of the other ice age species as well. Saber tooth pls.
Clone proto-humans plz!
At the very least, it could help curb racism, since we'd all have something undeniably "para human" to rally around and ridicule
Yea but what if they could bench press more then the modern humans? Then the racists would be like "oh, meen".
Always nice when they accidentally find stuff like this. Nodosaur fossil, good specimen.
Indeed, that is a very nice fossil! Scute positioning in Ankylosaurids (including Nodosaurids) has always been a bit hit and miss. There has been a rare few others that were "in situ" (when bones are fossilized in their correct placements, as opposed to scattered about, or in a pile), but this one is very complete on top of that.
T. rex running/walking speed calculated.
Saw recently they said it could barely run.
How the fuck did it catch anything then!? 9_6
Chasing other things that could barely run?
20 kmph looks reasonable though, I doubt heavy set Hadrosaurs were much faster
Fucking Jurassic park! Liars!
If you can't trust blockbuster movies, what CAN you trust!?
That 3D file browser that little girl is using (it's a UNIX system... I know this!) is real, though.
Oi, that computer was a serious BEAST back then. Most powerful workstation computer available. The normal GUI was actually quite nice, the 3D thingy was just a gimmick.
I remember the book specifically mentioning Cray supercomputers running the park
I wonder if they could run Skyrim :ponder:
