Time and money is the reasoning for a lot of this I'm sure. And the whole death of Adam thing everyone said before, considering the new people designing most of the assets and style for 4 and such seemingly follow way different rules for everything. Though I'll say that 4 has at least come close...

I think the sentry bot is one of the few designs that does look more imposing than in 3 & New Vegas. The new animation rigs and all that also help it as it shows the kind of speed something like that should have along with the moving treads and all that. I'd also give it to the Robobrains...

In a few years, give or take. I mean most of their prime video catalog is literally stolen movies repacked and low-budget fan crap so it's possible there's some there you can pay for.
