If one was playing good, the peaceful Wright takeover seems to be the best. The condition of not entering SAD entirely is a hard decision for some builds, though.
Well... actually I have the armor, from the quartermaster. The instruction was go to Bartholomew after getting the armor.
EDIT: Ok so I googled for the next quest after the SoH/BoS attack and as expected they were the same. I went there and it triggered even if I had no quest for it. Sadly I...
I just found out about this mod a few days ago. Way too late to the party. Anyway, ran into a possibly major bug: working for the BoS, up to the part where a Power Armor is given, the Elder says go to Paladin Bartholomew after. Problem is, the guy's been dead since the SoH attack. I've googled...
sigh
you can do exactly that (or at least get everything at a decent high enough level w/o careful planning) in FO3
unarmed costs 0 in-game currency, that alone gives it merit to be on its own. sure, in FO3 where unarmed and melee are truly crap they can be merged no problem, since nobody...
no, very personal would be attacking your english. MMO players usually advocate/follow a single "best" build, usually with the idea of being able to do everything or be at the top of a certain aspect with little care for creativity or role-play. the easier to play the better. that's where it...
following your logic then everything else is garbage. melee builds are garbage. diplomacy builds are garbage. fast shot builds are garbage. they are all combinations of self-gimping and what you feel like using. you've been playing too many MMOs. the only problem with big guns is accessibility...
No, a step in the right direction would be to make the skills that saw little use more useful by providing more opportunities to use them, NOT by removing them and adding their functionality to an already useful skill.
The argument is about the biased comment that Big Guns is a garbage skill. Then the same genius claimed the gauss is no doubt the best weapon and it is A LOT EASIER to get by with it than any other. It is true that before you get access to the guns in the Big Guns category it is rather useless...
a lot easier to get by with small guns (at least before you get the bozar) yes, but bozar vs gauss? the difference isn't that big. it's not like an enclave trooper will survive a crit from a bozar but not from a gauss.
just as FO:3 isn't really considered a Fallout game by fans of the first two? anyway that's beside the point. the point is in FO:T, Big Guns isn't a trash skill nor is it a late-game skill. mid-game you already have access to good big guns, most of which are better than the small guns or energy...
Everyone seems to ignore (forget?) the existence of both FO2 and FO:Tactics. Big Guns wasn't trash in FO2 thanks mainly to the Bozar. It's even better in FO:T since you get access to the guns early. The excuse "it's not good to introduce lower tier big guns because it will further confuse..."...
