    I think NAVARO.sll could be helpful if the both ground and underground levels are on the same map. if (elevation(dude_obj) == 1) then begin Full_Light; end else begin Lighting; end Basically this means if you on level 2 then you have lights always.

    I imported the source files to netbeans and run your project from there. I seem to have run into a small problem here on linux. Looks like the extension of the frm files are case sensitive on opening after one is opened the software sees the rest. When running it I get this at the output console...
