Could you be a bit more specific? I've talked to everyone in vault city and I feel like im missing something fundamental. When I started the game I couldnt figure out how to get out of the vault and I skipped it, did that change anything?

speaking of power armor, where is gecko? I've wandered the whole map but cant find it. I started wandering around north of Vault City hoping it was a random encounter at this point.
