Made an account to maybe fill in some "blanks" I've seen when it comes to finding info in the realm of the classic Fallout games. Some specific info that is not so uncoverable online. This website being a compendium and really the only place for guidance on these games, their state-of-the-art mods, and making them run on modern architecture.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, never posted. My first computer I built out of spare parts from an ancient desktop (read: encased in yellow plastic) and a few defunct servers from my dads job. A Pentium II CPU, sticks of RAM measured in Megabytes. I mixed, matched, and scrounged for parts nearing closer and closer to crossing the border of non-obsolescence. I still remember finding two 256MB sticks of RAM, and a Network Card. Learned how to arggg matey and Fallout, & Fallout 2 were the first games I played. When I finally got a PC which could be considered not-completely-obsolete, I made a multi-part Letsplay series on Youtube, playing Fallout. Lost to time now. I was 11 or 12 at that time.

I was born one year after the release of Fallout, but I can't remember why, possibly seeing my neighbor play Fallout 3 on release of The Pitt, I was engrossed in the world of the games before I ever got to play them. My favorite movie at the time was A Boy and His Dog, I read books like The Road at my middle school. I dreamt hopefully about one day being able to survive nuclear apocalypse, lmao, really.

Anyways, I'm here to add what I can, and preserve what need be preserved about these games and what made them so great.
