What Fallout Game Would You Remake First?

I don't think we need an FNV remake first. We have FNV Viva New Vegas, we have TTW, we have FNV Extended Edition. Maybe remakes of the original games (1 and 2) would make more sense. A lot of Fallout fans never played Fallout 1/2, it can be a good choice to make a remake, an old fans get a loved game from 1998 in 3d (maybe with more new features idk), and in this time newbie fans can try an origin of the Fallout.
Maybe we will not get a remake of any kind anyway =)

Fallout 1 is ideal.
It's stories are compact, not very expansive.
Its locations are limited, so no fear of Content Creep.
Its characters are quite limited compared to F2/3/NV, so investment on Voice acting is not very heavy.

Fallout 1 to modern standards, assuming Bethesda doesn't mess it up, I think would be boon for getting in new fans of the classic fallout.

@Resardiv & @Kar1ma7x absolute BASED ANSWERS guys! And I wholeheartedly agree with it, it'll be something that not a lot of people would expect.

   :ok:

Do not touch 1, 2 and New Vegas, leave them as they are. I don't care about the rest, Bethesda can remake their shitty games all it wants.
And I agree with this sentiment as well to an extent, I would love to see the FO 1 & 2 be remastered, but not by Bethesda of all video game companies to do it. Maybe Larian Studios, Obsidian, or InXile Entertainment could do the job right!

Even Obsidian/InXile would remove content deemed too controversial by tomorrow 's standards. The fanbase modder would be a safer bet, assuming they don't make it about creepy perverts half snakes.

Speaking of remaster. Truth be told, the FNV game engine could use an upgrade. if you can remaster FNV into another engine that can run HD quality visuals plus 20 humanoids in different costume and scripts running around on screen... That would be great~

Still, after all that trouble, the devs (or modders) would be unable to resist monkeying around with it... TTW proved that: modders can only keep themselves in check from monkeying with F3 content with great shackles.

Instead of an official remaster, I would rather have coders make a source port for New Vegas like OpenMW and Daggerfall Unity. New Vegas would benefit more from having a fan made open source engine instead of an official "remaster" that would only introduce more bugs and break long lasting mods like the F4 next gen update, knowing Bethesda.

Edit: Anyways to answer OPs question, I also wouldn't want see remakes to the classic Fallout games either. I would instead choose to remaster them in the same way Planescape: Torment was. Just make the UI less clunky, add widescreen, and make the games work better on modern operating systems.
