First time out of the vault

I’m using Dims Mapper v0.99.3.1 and tried adding a small house in the northeast corner of Klamath Downtown (right above Vic’s store). The idea was to make it a small storage spot for the player early in the game.
However, whenever I leave the downtown area or use the Pip-Boy to skip time, the game crashes with this message:
The instruction at XXXXXXX referenced memory at XXXXXXX
The memory could not be read from
Even if I only place a fridge on the map, it still happens.
Has anyone else run into this issue before?
Or is there a proper guide or tutorial for using Dims Mapper safely with Fallout 2 maps?
Thanks in advance!
P.S.
1.My Fallout 2 version: 1.02d + sfall 4.2.8
2.The official BIS Mapper keeps crashing for me (I followed Quantum’s Fallout Modding “How To” videos step-by-step).
Update:
10/9
Turns out the issue was that my .dat files didn’t have the English text files — I’m using the Traditional Chinese version of Fallout 2. Once I switched back to the original English version, the BIS Mapper worked perfectly!
Now I can finally start adding stuff to the maps!
