That issue with GTA V is a huge problem with most open world games. I honestly think developers slap unnecessary huge openworlds in games because most casuals think big equals quality somehow.

I hate how AAA sandboxes changed what sandbox games were; they used to be like Star Traders, Space Rangers or immersive sims where you dropped into a detailed world where you can do pretty much anything, limited only by the skills of your character and the world's systems.
Really wish sandboxes went back to those type of games and not empty shallow worlds where all you do is run around, kill people, and do quests.
