Unlike Vinland and Helluland etc, where resources were more abundant, and trade therefore more of a possibility - in Greenland, I'm guessing scarcity made for immediate hostility between populations. Norse explorers were equally hostile, and the attitude seems to have been to kill on sight

The anecdote from Inuit side, tells of a kayaker killing a norseman with a single throw of a spear, for then to prepare for coming retaliations

As I understand, the Thule replaced these Greenlandic tribes in the time that would follow. The mainland-tribes seemed much more inviting, up untill the vikings lost control of a bull (according to the sagas), and this bull freaked the natives out

the natives retreated for weeks, total "radio silence", untill they returned as an army, and attacked without hesitation. The vikings battled, then retreated, and there's a story of a pregnant viking woman slapping her naked boobs w a sword - something the natives respected the shit out of, and she was able to flee as well

As amazing as these interactions are, the sagas relate dissapointly little about these events, they are kind of rushed through, which is a huge pity

I have about 600 or so but I will look if you require more data. I can't find the one that talked about all that...shaman stuff I think it was.

Dang, are these public domain type archives? I thought Wikisource was a treasure-trove! I've yet to actually read most of the Sagas, there's so much to catch up on

Not exactly. They have a Discord group apparently though. Keep in mind they will be mainly occultists but they will be well read.
