The whole remake is running. Running and not as good story bits. No running into Claire while in the station. You see her outside and then she is gone.

The game isn't even mediocre like wtf. It's another homerun as far as I'm concerned. Hell after 6 I'm just fucking stoked it's a survival horror series again.

What's to debate? It's a good ass game. The zapping system was already gay so the fact they dropped the ball a bit on it here means nothing to me because I never liked that mechanic to begin with.

There's a moment in Claire's campaign where you go to an orphanage that was run by umbrella and I thought "wow how awesome would it be if Claire's campaign split completely here" when it didn't happen I was super disappointed.

There was a moment in Leon's campaign where some ball sacks attacked me in the sewer instead of spiders and I just thought "How long until this is over?"

Fucking hate those things. They're just there to be ammo dumps because theres two you cant get around unless you know they're coming and two you literally have to fight. Apart from spiders the moth is also missing from the game.

Plus they ruined Kendo. They combined him with the RE3 daughter guy. Little shit like that and not keeping the perspective makes it more of a slog for me than enjoyment. Nemesis might be better with one character being in it.

I need to force myself to beat it then make a thread about the difference between the two. Zapping was the shit and you are gay.

Couldn't care less about a character who has like 4 poorly acted lines and dies with having literally no impact on the story. And I might like dudes but zapping was gay and should've been replaced with an entirely new campaign in a new location.

It just seems like they changed things just for the sake of changing them. Not sure it even feels like the same game at times.

It's not supposed to. It's an entirely new and different game with the same basic story. If I wanted to play a game like the original RE2 I can just walk over to my shelf and put original RE2 in my PS3.

Glad you enjoyed it. The first remake was almost a perfect recreation with added shit. The second gutted the fucking game and added shit. Pretty sure they even changed all the notes that were much better. No dialog to read when clicking...

The first REmake is perfection and while I don't think REmake 2 is perfect I can't think of anything outright wrong with it without comparing it the the original so... *Shrugs* besides RE1 needed a remake because of how poorly it aged in comparison to it's successors. the original RE2 holds up fine to this day. Anyway what did you think of RE7?

You know I grew up with the original RE2 right? I'm already well aware of what it did and didn't do. I absolutely love both versions of the game.

I didn't play 7. I don't feel obligated to play the games in the series anymore.

I'm simply posting what i think of the game without writing it all. He noticed all the shit I did minus the parts I haven't reached in the remake.

You're missing out by not playing 7. It's great once you get past the first 30 minutes or so.
