The story gets better. The whole Mama subplot is pure cringe from hell. Then it gets better.

I hope so. The Prologue chapter sold me really, really strongly and the whole thing drips with atmosphere but the "mom president" and the metaphors so blunt they've given me a cranial injury are really not inspiring hope. I love the courier work though and hope the story smoothes out so I can just vibe as the postman

It smooths out after Mama. Kojima is such a weirdo. I really liked Cliff.

I really like the villain rival guys design even though I've only seen him in trailers and once in game. Reminds me of Taskmaster.
