Well @TorontoReign and @Morgan_ , I grew up playing Quake 2 and Quake 3 Arena. My expectation with this rebooted game starting from 2016 is always single player twitch arena shooter. I never played Doom original sadly. But it is what it is.

Heck in Quake you spend more time aiming in the air while managing weapons hotkey spawn to avoid delay in attack. It was very 3D game unlike the old doom.

So yeah, Toront had played Doom and watched the old Ralph Bakshi Hobbit & LOTR. While I only played Quake and watched Peter Jackson's. Nostalgia certainly plays big factor on how we viewed stuff. I mean uncle Crni is furious when I mocked Robocop as sloppy slow tin man lmao.

Robocop is a terrible movie. Total Recall much better. Get your ass back to Mars.

I get you not caring about Eternal since you liked Quake more but Eternal is more like Arena than Doom which is why I prefer Doom 3 or even Doom 2016.

Doom 3 is slooooow. It will be miracle for me to understand your weird dual truth standard to like and hate stuff.

I like Doom 2016 better than Eternal without playing Eternal because I do not like the grapple hook bullshit and all the nonsense they did with the story. I like Doom 3 because the real iD made it and it is scary. Yes Doom 3 is slow though. Less Doom than it should be.

First, you can play Eternal without ever using that grappling hook. But with original Doom 3 you would barely able to go without flashlight, if almost impossible. Also the weapons were more lame. Doom 2016 and Eternal have much better ones truer to the originals. Also as a fan of 40k universe, I endorse Eternal as heck.

Eternal is fine without the Doom name you are correct. Doom 3 is still more Doom due to having atmosphere like the original while sadly not having the gameplay. I am not saying you are wrong for liking it. I am saying I cannot support that game.

But I think it is safe to say you don't understand where I am coming from and I do not feel like explaining any further in regards to LOTR. As I said I will leave the thread alone and let you be because I will piss you off.

I do know where you are coming from though so don't feel like I am clueless to what you have said. I pay attention but sometimes well without diverting further off course I will say this mode of convo is not ideal.

Ok so you are upset that i said I don't care about asians getting killed in slave factories (I guess) or something because I cannot do anything about it. When I say I do not care I mean it in a stoic sense. If I go to Wal-Mart and waste more money I am still supporting slavery.
