I've tried chamomile tea with honey, DayQuil, very hot showers, and I would do exercise, but my legs feel like uncooked pasta.

You need to exercise daily instead just occasionally, or it won't work.

I try to exercise as much as I can, but when I'm this sick, my body just says "AW HELL NAW" and locks up on me. My muscles ache, my limbs are stiff and no amount of painkillers can stop the nasty cramps I get when I exert myself.

The only reason a common cold can strike you that hard is because you haven't exercise enough.

I know there's some generalizations you can make with illnesses, but this is just how the cold affects me. It's the same way flu shots always give me a horrible, horrible flu and cherries and cucumbers always give me stomach issues. It's a personal issue.
