Where did you hear that? They've always said it won't be ported to consoles, and at most it might come to tablets.
It actually looks very similar to how I imagined it would look, although maybe a bit cartoon-ish as others have said. I like it though.
Maybe EA is setting themselves up to buy out InXile and use them for future Wasteland games to compete with Bethesda and the Fallout series.
