Fallout: Van Buren Worldbook (FINISHED - Map and PDF inside)

Would add to a bit of Nursery foreshadowing if it was a product of Greenway Hydroponics.

Why couldn't House just write a new update code for his army?

Hardware on the chip was special, one of a kind, we're told this. State of the art stuff. In the Fallout world, computers work far differently to our own. Assumedly, this OS required something as complex and unique as the chip to actually function. Basing your assumptions for how...

I can't recall exactly what was said but very cleverly Clover had picked up on something minor Judah had said and then got the conclusion from it. I was actually paranoid for a second they'd managed to find the worldbook lmao. And yeah I'm taking the opportunity to make the dungeon more...

Fallout: Van Buren Worldbook (FINISHED - Map and PDF inside)

Today was a relatively short slow one in terms of progression, mainly because the opening combat took fucking eons. The group put their backpacks on and set out into the ruins of Salt Lake City, heading for Judah Black and his "Hands of God" situated at Temple Square. Shortly before arriving...

Fallout 4 Is Better Than You Think

It's also entirely counterproductive because Perks are fun....when they aren't incremental bonuses to stuff like gun effectiveness and when they're suited to builds and not just a flat Call of Duty style system where you just upgrade across the board and unlock everything. Which is exactly the...

    General Discussion Thread of DOOM

From what cliches I know 4 seems to fit the bill better what with the fish out of water being pulled from his real world and the harem of women the 4 protag can build

    General Discussion Thread of DOOM

I grew up watching Doctor Who and dinosaur documentaries. I didn't even watch Ghibli till my gf made me do so last year. Bebop was technically my first. Yeah I wouldn't say it's impeccably good or whatever but it just ticks the exact right boxes for me (Bluegrass, jazz, rusty space setting...

The future of Fallout - IGN Interview with Todd Howard

Zion National Park is unironically one of my favorite places on the planet and it's a damn shame we'll never see NV on an engine that would do it justice. Honest Hearts on a modern AAA engine would be beyond cool.

    General Discussion Thread of DOOM

Cowboy Bebop is the only non-Ghibli anime I've watched and it remains one of my favorite tv shows of all time, i dont think i'll taint my view of it by watching the live action.

He's been asked before and dodged it iirc

    Most powerful Fallout 3 character

To me they're equally vapid and irritating but 4 has the advantage of being more technically impressive and feeling better to play. Ironically I like 76 the best of the Beth games

    Most powerful Fallout 3 character

The part about hating the game less as you grow older I've found to be untrue in my case. I replayed 3 and it's DLC back in 2015 and thought it was alright. I tried replaying it just this past month and couldn't stomach it at all. Liked it way way less.

I also really wished they'd dug into Wells of Salvation - I prepped the damn Vault 70 dungeon and they didn't even leave New Canaan. But, it was strong RP and they all really enjoyed it. So eh. Clover has been very absent because they have been finishing work super late, they've joined late...

Fallout: Van Buren Worldbook (FINISHED - Map and PDF inside)

@Hardboiled Android @Dayglow Drifter Very short (and weird) session today due to scheduling conflicts, and almost entirely player driven. Reverend Hill and Marked By War returned to New Canaan, seeking out the clinic for healing. They were visited by John who had been waiting for 12 days for...

    An article about Fallout

It's reflected quite well when House's opening line is "You've come a long way. Literally and I suspect figuratively as well." It feels earned.

What do you think of the mod "Brightweight Strip Overhaul"? in regards to making the Strip look more like it "should"

    An article about Fallout

It is mildly irksome how the majority of cities seem to be decayed rather than obliterated. The Boneyard in Fallout was a good example in the opposite where by all accounts it's basically a long stretch of single-story charred ruins and foundations. New Vegas to its credit maintains this...

Fallout: Van Buren Worldbook (FINISHED - Map and PDF inside)

That's a very fair argument. If it helps, I didn't actually tell the players he was 2nd Gen, just very dumb. In other news I think the players are very much enjoying the campaign. I'll have ran three sessions for them on their request this week and even the ones who weren't involved in...
