Skyrim was the same.
As long as the embargo ends before the release it's okay.
But I don't really get why Bethesda has an embargo at all. Everyone knows that they will get great reviews...
I think that a lot of people can relate to, getting separated from your wifi/girlfriend/kid etc and will care for them bacause they project their on relatives in the game.
But I can understand why some people could not care about it at all.
I think the story premise is interesting. Really don't understand what makes it "cringeworthy"...
Maybe you just like other stuff than the majority of Fallout players?
I like series like Fargo, Breaking Bad, Mr Robot, House of Cards..
You?
Sounds amazing to me.
Like in the Witcher, where you hear little children on the street sing a song about something that's related to the story.
Or you walk through Novigrad and see how which hunters are burning witches.
Love this way of storytelling.
There are multiple interviews of recent times where developers at Obsidian tell that they would love to make another Fallout.
For Zenimax it is a no brainer. They already give Bethesda game studios the privilige to work with just one team
and take their time. Letting the Falloit franchise...
Nope, it sold something like 6 million in the first couple of weeks.
That's a huge succes. That's alsof why I believe that Zenimax will definetly let Obsidian make another Fallout game.
Bought every Bethesda game since Oblivion on release.
Never had a "broken game". Always some bugs, nothing critical.
But there's room for improvement, sure.
