I lost all of my hard drive contens included my precious Witcher/Witcher 2 saves. Anyone have any they'd be willing to upload. My witcher 1 choices don't matter too much (except I defeated the very end boss) and in Witcher 2 I sided with elves, and spared the final boss. Any help super appreciated.

If you have 30-50 hours to spare, yes, it's really good. I liked it more than the sequel, but both are great. I think a lot of 3 won't make sense without 1, at least towards the end of 1.

I really hope they can maintain the great writing and C&C with an open-world action experience, I can't think of many modern examples of games that have been able to pull off both. I'm hoping this is one of them. It looks like everything I wanted Skyrim to be but fell short of my expectations.

yup!. When I was playing through Detroit I thought I was playing a game just as good as the original, but the game suffered from cut content, like upper hengsha, and India. It just repeated the same environments, and Belltower's motiviation seemed a little vague. A sequel is still a day one...
