    I've always thought, given the Master's psychic abilities, he was able to keep them relatively sane. Given though the symptoms weren't apparent until long after his demise it could be that without the Master's voice they eventually went mad or just weren't able to deal with it alone.

    It's one of those words that has no thought put into its use, it's just meant to paint something as bad without question. It's not that we're trying not to enjoy newer Fallout titles, they just don't hold up as well to the originals (and New Vegas). Some folks here hold strong opinions...

    These ones listed kind of fit the game though, they don't clash like the ghost in the second game. Though saying that, the ghost never bothered me to be honest. IIRC, only the Chosen One has actually seen her? (I'm probably wrong on this but it's been years since I've played Fallout 2).
