    US slams 'criminals' behind WikiLeaks

Yeah, the soldier should be prosecuted. But Assange is just a distributor of secrets. Even if he goes behind bars, so what? Newspapers published those materials... should we close them too? As far as rape charges go, i am not so quick to dismiss them as false. We'll have to wati and see what...

    US slams 'criminals' behind WikiLeaks

It's interesting that the leaks surfaced about the time the North Koreans attacked... Would China have something to do with the leaks? Did the Koreans plan the attack to match what they thought would be a moment of weakness in the west?

    Deploying NMA vets!

Crap, why would you 'study' to be in the legion? All the people i've met that joined the Legion "got out" before the 5 year mark. All you'll get is shot in the face or macheted by some african dude youv'e got no quarrel with. It might be fun, but it would be wiser to join your own countrys...

CCP snubbed by the Nobel committee

I've got a friend working for a firm in collaboration with Honeywell doing some business with the Chinese. Inspecting parts, quality control, supply chain. He goes to China a few times a year. Those guys work 12 hours a day, also weekends. They get up at 6 on Sundays for military training...

    Age Cap

In my country if you call an ambulance for a sick old person, the ambulance takes more than 15 minutes to arrive, sometimes half an hour to 45 minutes. If you report a young peson being sick, they'll be at yout door in less than 10 minutes.

A brand new use for bras

In ww1 they used urine because it was effective (and is) against chlorine gas. Try that with anything else and the invading enemy will laugh at your piss-faced corpse.

    Skynet Tests Its Limits

Actually all you have to do is win the population's support. If you can do that, the guerrillas won't have any support. That's wht happened to Che Guevara...

    Skynet Tests Its Limits

Meh, tanks are not invincible. Although, as far as i know, the driver doesn't look directly out, aren't there mirrors and he's looking through that slit like through a periscope? Don't they have video cameras in the 21st century?

    Skynet Tests Its Limits

Yeah?? Well i can dream about the Robot Apocalypse, can't I? Google-bots searching for humans to shoot and all sounds very robot-apocalypse to me. A drone - i mean a tracked armored inverted bathtub with a rifle and movement/thermal detectors could deny surface area to any humans. And if...

    Skynet Tests Its Limits

But they die, they can't see in the dark and they can't aim their rifles automatically and quickly.

    Skynet Tests Its Limits

They could build small land drones on tracks with high powered rifles (NTW 20) or a machinegun and have it look through a termal sensor, making it shoot everything that is at 36-37 degrees and moves and kinda looks like a human. Parachute hundreds of these into enemy cities and wait.

    best post- apoc movie

I like waterworld too. I especially like the fact that it is a post apoc movie that doesn't happen in the desert. I'll wait for a post apocalyptic movie with snow. There already is a webcomic that does that: post-nuke comic.

    Brazilian UFO Sighting

Not true! Pieces of the Eiffel tower were cast in Romanian foundries. Eiffel visited Romania because he needed a certain type of steel. Some parts of the tower bear the mark of the Resita steel factory (which at the time was under Austrian ownership, but i'm not sure).
