    Dark Souls

That's what "x360ce" is for. Should work fine with any controller when configured with it.

    Dark Souls

I use a cheap dual shock gamepad i picked up for Resident Evil 4 way back, still serves me fine. Had to use x360ce to get the keys behaving like they should for this game though. It also enabled rumble, which didn't work before. So I guess buying an actual x360 pad would save you some hassle.

    Sleeping Dogs

Finished the main story. Seemed fairly short for a game of this type. Although I didn't really bother with most of the side content. Overall the game was fairly fun - 7/10. Some issues with controls, camera can sometimes get annoying, too many minigames and QTEs. And the story, while engaging...

    GTA V

Considering that they upgraded the engine to DX11 for Max Payne 3 and it allows deferred MSAA it would be pretty stupid of them not to include it in GTA V. One hopes them screens are from console version.

    Sleeping Dogs

I'm not sure what do you mean by "average system" exactly, but I will try to help. I'm running it on i5-2320 (3GHz), 8GB DDR3 RAM, GTX460 SE ( a bit slower than regular one). For settings i use 1360x768 (I use 720p TV for games), advanced config - everything maxed except antialiasing lowered to...

    Max Payne 3

Finished it two times already, on Hard and Hardcore, and still itching to play more. Gonna do a run on Old School difficulty soon I think. Best TPS in years, easily, even overdone cutscenes can't ruin it. As far as atmosphere goes I still prefer first two games, but that doesn't mean MP3 doesn't...

    Stalker Clear Sky Patch Question

Yeah, install latest patch and Complete mod for the least shitty experience. It was still not enough for me to finish it, but it's damn sure the definitive version to play. Shame, I love STALKER, Call of Pripyat especially, but Clear Sky is just a big fail.

    Batman: Arkham City

I think I'd struggle finding any things in video games that aren't repetitive. What matters most is if it's fun. And combat in both AA and AC is surely that to me. I was glad to do these combos over and over again, and will be again when I replay it some more. Gliding around map is also...

    Your GOTY 2011 (poll added)

You mean like in The Witcher 2, your GOTY? Seconded. It's a pretty damn significant release for a lot of us.

    Your GOTY 2011 (poll added)

Surprising amount of games I really liked this year (or my standards are crumbling), but for the sheer overall pleasure I had while playing it "Batman Arkham City" is at the top of the list. I predicted it will be my GOTY before I actually got to play it though.

RPGCODEX closed... Probably up to something.

Re: Meme Nodes: Life As Just-a Party  Hey now, everyone knows you're cool.

RPGCODEX closed... Probably up to something.

Isn't General Discussion section a standard for any forum though? Best thing to do is probably just start banning users who repeatedly demonstrate disinterest in saying anything other than retarded nonsense. Which is likely to happen anyway. Freedom of chaos on Codex has its certain charms but...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Wow, she did make a lot of sense there. I felt very much the same about the game except my enjoyment of it wore off by now. Nice of her to review it like this, if she keeps making sense she might not even need to shove her tits in viewers faces anymore. Hey now, Silent Hill 2 is awesome.

Reason to get Serios Sam 3 is...

Well, all Serious Sam games since the first one had fuckload of graphics options so this was to be expected. Although it's still nice to hear this hasn't changed.

The Ultimate Movie Thread of Ultimate Destiny

Departed is inspired by Infernal Affairs and features many of the same twists but they are still largely different movies, in tone and attitude. Also, Infernal Affairs is a trilogy. Watch and decide for yourself, it's certainly worth it.

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Doesn't mean it's as functional as it should be. There could be a lot less of that easy navigation.

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Whatever, I find vanilla visuals highly boring. I always prefer things sharp and colorful. I did say it can be customized.

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Regarding visuals, there's a neat tool called "FXAA Injector", which is good for... using things other than FXAA. I use it for sharpening, tonemap and technicolor effects: Vanilla (brightness turned up because this mod darkens the image): Injector on: It's very customizable and...
