I'm currently playing the fallout 2 RP 2.2b but im considering stopping for waiting for the final version. i wonder if the save games will work.

How can i get the latest hi res patch? is it the version on the forum? Also will the savegames of the 2.1.2b work with the 2.2 version?

So i started playing this with the hi resolution mode on. And i noticed some areas appear with black border and other areas seem to be missing ground tiles? Here's a pic: This is the village to southwest of klamath.

But the RP includes the hi res patch.

Also is there a way to fill the screen in the main menu for example? I get black border on both sides.....

Hey thanks. I managed to make it work by putting: music_path1=data/sound/music , i'm using wine.

What did was set the ddraw.dll to native then builtin. Then i installed the f2_res_Config.exe and the dll's in the resolution patch and put them in the fallout 2 rp folder. I set the graphics to directdraw7 and at 1366X768 it seems to work well. I'll try to put it there. Edit: Just noticed...

Ok after installing the hi res patch in the fallout 2 folder and launch the f2_config.exe i've managed to make it work well.

Can't seem to put the RP to work well. If i install fallout 2 with the oficial patch and the HiRes one it will work well on wine. With the RP it's very slow when actually playing.

How do i set the opengl as default renderer?can i do that in winecfg?

Re: Wine + fallout What about hi-resolution patch? Forgot to ask, my version is the DVD one from GSP, in the game the version says 1.0.0, but i don't know if its the us or uk version. Is there a way to know?Do i even need to patch it before installing the restoration project? Edit: ok...

Been out of this for some time. Is there any hd patch that works with killap rp? Also how compatibility with wine?
