    Usually the reason is that the game is installed in the "Program Files...", and Windows prevents the files from being changed there. This is really common question, so I updated editor and now errors when saving are not only recorded in the log, but also displayed in the messagebox.

    That was an unsuccessful attempt to hide the sfall tab when there is no sfallgv.sav file. Removed that changes. 1 I do not see easy way to do this.     You should try F12se. I have fixed a few bugs there. F1se often fails to load savegame if player is in combat, maybe there are other bugs. If F12se will fail too, you need to tell what mods you are using and upload saved game somewhere, so I can take a look.
