So what would happen if they put porn in it?

NMA PnP: The Ruleset Collection Thread

Although I said I prefer things quick, it looks over-simplified to me. If I'm reading this right, weapon damage and armor DT/DR is based on the item class. I would much prefer items to have individual values.

NMA PnP: The Ruleset Collection Thread

I think I've said it before, but I think it would be best to keep things simple in a PnP system. One of the nice things about having a RPG video game is that the computer can do all of the dice rolling for you in real time. Players on tabletop do not have that luxury. If you don't keep the turn...

I can't understand your nonsense numbers. I speak American. Go back to France, you commie.

How Many Weapons Should You Carry?

Yeah, these look like very solid builds. Also, Survivalist's Rifle is not automatic. :ok:

    I giggled. :ok:

How Many Weapons Should You Carry?

If you're playing a ranged character, I would suggest having a handful of different weapons to suit any situation. I usually have a sidearm, automatic, sniper, and something that goes boom. This isn't a strict rule I use, I just try to have every angle covered when I head out into the Mojave...

The world of Fallout: New Vegas makes sense

The Vertibird we see in New Vegas is Kimball's private aircraft. They even call it Bear Force One. They wouldn't use the president's private shuttle as an instrument of war. If I remember right, the NCR has a very limited amount of vertibirds(the ones they took from the Enclave/Brotherhood). The...

    Fallout 4's lack of rebuilding

Maybe the raider use this ? I used to play 3 religiously, but I'm still surprised I remembered this place. It's really out of the way.

Bethesda's Settings; Which Had More Potential?

His book is relevant to the conversation because it is an example of a Western that does not take place in the West.

The world of Fallout: New Vegas makes sense

The West and East are vastly different settings in the Fallout universe, but you are completely right. It does look like Bethesda tried to work towards this by having farms all over, but they missed the point. Farms are just one aspect of the infrastructure necessary to maintain a proper...

What are some of your fondest/funniest memories and experiences with Fallout?

In the order that I played them(spoilers ahead of course): 3 I can't think of a particular experience that really stuck with me, but it was more the exploration in general that I loved. NV Confronting Benny for the first time was quite satisfying. There was a long buildup leading to...

    Post-Britannia, a dystopian novel

I figured you were wondering why Phipps didn't get a thread like this or at least a mention. He is also a member and published author. That is what I thought when I first saw this thread.

If they did, then why didn't San Fran? If water levels rose high enough to engulf Australia, the U.S. coastline would also be swallowed up.

Bethesda's Settings; Which Had More Potential?

Someone I know just assured me that you can have a Western that isn't in the West. They provided Quigley Down Under as an example. This reminds me of how I want a Fallout set in Australia. You would have to throw in cool Mad Max references, of course.

Bethesda's Settings; Which Had More Potential?

Yeah, you're right about the first one. My bad. I thought he was saying that the only livable land was in the West, so Fallout had to be in the West. About the second point though, the western genre is all about the setting. What makes something a western? Cowboys 'n shit...... and being in the...

What was the Funniest Argument You've had with a Bethesda Apologist?

Get your friend to play New Vegas. If he loves it, make him analyze why. Then ask him to ponder on what New Vegas has and 3/4 lack. This is what lead me to the classic Fallouts. New Vegas is a gateway drug for Bethesdrones to find the classic games. If they love the strong roleplaying and story...

    Most Hated NPC's

I did find it interesting to have sex as a means of diplomacy in Fallout 2. I think it fits the Fallout style better than sex as a reward like in New Vegas. I felt disgusting for making my character sleep with Metzger, but at least it helped me free Vic.

Bethesda's Settings; Which Had More Potential?

I believe it is stated that some of the GECKs were terraformers, while others were like what you described. I don't know if this is just Bethesda retcon or not, though.
