    Your own Vault ideas

I like your vault idea. The vaults were made to be experiments on isolation. If I remember right, the Enclave contracted them in order to test the effects of isolation so that the Enclave would be prepared for space travel, as being in a sealed vault for hundreds of years could emulate that...

NMA Podcast Round 6 - Nuka World

I don't know if this has been said already, but I think this podcast could use some identification. It would be nice to know who is who right off the bat. Perhaps allowing everyone to say hello individually in the intro would help clear things up. Just a suggestion.

I really liked that one. Do you know of any similar songs by Townsend?

    Mark Morgan's Inspiration

I thought the background music in Fallout was powerful and unique when I first played it. It is sad to know that they are shameless rips, but I don't mind too much. It would have been sufficient for me if he had simply acknowledged it and credited the authors. The first times hearing Vault of...

Should I stay or should I go?

Here is a Link to New Vegas: Muliplayer. It looks like they are in the middle of closed bug testing.

Should I stay or should I go?

That mod is still in its initial stages. Progress is slow going. It is safe to bet it will die out like all of the other Fallout multiplayer mod projects. I do hope this one doesn't, and that I am wrong. I would love to co-op New Vegas. I used to mess around with a friend and have one person on...

What was the Funniest Argument You've had with a Bethesda Apologist?

I guess you could say that I had an internal argument with a Bethesda apologist when I came to terms with the mediocrity of Bethesda Game Studios. I began my love of the Fallout universe with Fallout 3. I was always aware of the classics, but never put much thought into them. It wasn't until...

Should I stay or should I go?

I think every Fallout game was shipped with unfinished and/or cut content. The original Fallout was missing at least two ending options because of cut characters(Hub and Followers).

Should I stay or should I go?

I would say your best bet would be to spice New Vegas up with mods. Try some expansion mods like Beyond Boulder Dome: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46907/? You could try overhaul mods such as FOOK or Project Nevada: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34684/...

Which is your favorite gang of Raiders?

A raider is defined as a person who attacks an enemy in the enemy's territory. Seeing as how the NCR invaded their territory, I guess the NCR are the raiders. :P

    Fallout-like games which you enjoy

I am not familiar with many games similar to the classic Fallouts. Shadowrun is pretty similar in terms of gameplay and some themes. I haven't played any Shadowrun games, but I know someone who has loved them for ages. Shadowrun Returns is a new-ish release and is a top-down turn-based RPG...

Just to clarify, I respect the classic Fallout titles and enjoyed the original. Hopefully I will not be burned at the stake for my heretical opinions.

    My review of Fallout 3

In retrospect, I now realize Dad Neeson is a sociopath. He may be crazy, but I don't think he died in futility. How could he have known about the serum? He probably thought Autumn was going to die as well. As I understood it, the drug Autumn took was a special antidote created by the Enclave. I...

    Will Fallout 3 be remembered?

I doubt there is much I can say that hasn't already been said over the many years this thread has been alive, but I would like to throw in my opinion. I started with Fallout 3, so it has a special place in my heart. I recognize that it is a terrible shooter and RPG, but I will never forget it. I...

What makes the classic Fallout entries deep?

I found that the original Fallout had deep characters. Even if they were cookie-cutter models or made of clay, they felt like plausible people that actually lived within that world. The main antagonist of the game has actual motives instead of just being another run-of-the-mill punching bag.

I want to build the first real (i mean REAL) fallout 10mm

There is a noticable difference between the Colt 6520 from the classic Fallouts and the N99 from 3 and New Vegas. A quick google search revealed a model for the N99: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:116304

Which is your favorite gang of Raiders?

I agree with the others about the Great Khans. They feel rather fleshed-out and more like a people instead of a gang. It makes it tough to murder them all in New Vegas, whereas the other raiders are almost all instantly hostile and easy to dehumanize.

How did you discover Fallout ?

I began my love of all things Fallout with FO3. I played 3 on the Xbox soon after its release and fell in love. I have been playing it and New Vegas for years, but only recently delved into the classics. I was gifted the Fallout Anthology and decided to give the older titles a shot. I attempted...
