Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

Look the internet is at it's best when used for listening counter arguments and learning things that contradicts with what you already know. To approach it as if it's a boxing ring equal to being utter ignorant. I ceased to answer you because it reached to a point where i'll forced to "repeat"...

Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

In that post i mostly mentioned his attitude toward pre-war world. Still his approach wasn't much different toward the post-war world anyway. He rehabilitated those tribes because his robot army wasn't big enough to force NCR negotiate. His vision for humanity is purely about making...

Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

I have to make a correction, The Institute didn't prevented that unification, they even wanted to help but one of the scientist used a gen-3, when they're still considered as prototype, to prevent the unified government from failing but this over-eagerness lead to The Broken Mask incident. Also...

Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

Science takes time. No matter his motivations that strain of F.E.V is created during these experiments and the cure is for that strain. Though yes it's not perfect and subject still loses it's faculties in time, 10 years is short time for scientific progress. Yeah using F.E.V stupid but hey...

Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

During an institute quest a scientist went outside to collect a guy with a high intellect. Another one was seen meeting with Kellogg to get rid of him, one of head scientist comes outside with player to Mass Fusion building etc. The Institute is not a Vault and nowhere in game it's stated that...

Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

There is an Assaultron and some broken robots inside the institute(on your way to old FEV lab). Only assumption i'm making is that they did use other type of robots before gen-1 and it's a very fair assumption like assuming they did eat food, drink water and breath air before we meet them. It's...

Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

Well construction of The Institute was underway before the war as a cooperation between MIT and the army. It's plausible to believe they horded a lot of raw material for potential upgrades. And as i say they're actively using androids and synths to collect material. Player comes across with...

Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

They used robots for all other tasks and now using synths. The Institute do collects resources including any wastelander with high intelligence also Gen-1 and Gen-2 synths systematically collect resources and even strip down towns for spare parts. I believe Institute achieved more scientific...

Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

    Why it's lore breaking?

Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

From what i gather, Synths are very much artificial humans. Existence of Gen-1 and Gen-2 androids causes some confusion because naturally player thinks there is a linear evolution. Actually Institute hit a wall with traditional robotics so with Gen-3 they decided on an utterly different...

    Automatron opinion thread.

It would be a better game, though not necessarily a better rpg. I too don't think original idea wouldn't help to save RP aspect of the game. Because in Fallout 3's prologue, player allowed to interact. Since half of role play happens in player's head, during Vault 101 sequence player was...

    Automatron opinion thread.

Original idea is indeed similar to Vault 101 sequence. In that version player was suppose to make time jumps. Starting with same bathroom scene but when Nora was still pregnant. Then player'd jump forward in time where Vault-tec guy comes to escort them to the vault. Soldiers shooting and even...

    Automatron opinion thread.

-It's 3 hours top. -Crafting Mechanic is rich and open for experimenting. -Story is weak(shocked). -New lore on Robobrains is good and actually it confirms Fallout bible mostly. -Last dungeon in fun and has interesting reads here and there (Nothing on par with Maxson diaries or The...

    Fallout 4 Automatron is out

I didn't mentioned Point Lookout because i have a personal dislike for that DLC. Though you're right; Point Lookout was objectively better.

    Paladin Danse Perk Question

Where did you get this information? Because as far as i know once you earn a companion perk you no longer need him/her. I can confirm for example Piper's perk works even without her, same for MacCready's perk.

I don't think Legendary weapons should be in the game.

The game is not balanced around some of the legendary effects. Effects like explosive, rapid, two shot(with Boosted Barrels Gatling Laser) or wounding simply breaks the game.

    The NCR Ending Is Canon

I would rather House or Yes Man being canon. It's just, Vegas being an independent and lawless land where an adventurous soul can do anything to find his fortune, sounds better than another city with tax-paying citizens...

    [Serious] Fallout 4 DLC Ideas

Arguably? It was outright better. To be fair of all Bioware games it was DA:I where character race and class effected the dialogues most of the time. In Fallout 4 you're lucky if a NPC guesses your gender right...
