The monopoly is there, at least for consoles. It's not they would make a collaboration with Nexus - they expect modders to migrate their mods on the Bethesda' modstore to make them available for consoles for broader public. This is something Nexus can't do.

Will Bethesda now call a cease and desist order on Nexus, because it "could possible promote cheating and spoil the gameplay experience", like Rockstar did on FiveM?

I guess, Fallout 4 is a decent game, however - users wrote here that Fallout 4 seems to have a lot of missed opportunities. Some call it laziness of your 'favourite' gamestudio, some call it opportunities for some great mods. As for me, i sure would love to see the metro tunnel system...
