    Bad games you enjoy playing

I'm a big fan of the 2000AD games: Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs Death and Rogue Trooper. They're both not great shooters, but they service the license well.

    Most overrated/ game

LA Noire could have been a much better game had they not wasted resources on creating an open world that the game doesn't even actually use. As far as overrated games go, I would have go with Gears of War/Uncharted cover shooter shite.

    Dishonored 1 and 2

I agree for the most part. I feel like when the original game was in development, Arkane did the majority of the world building first and forgot to actually create a compelling story set in the universe. "Fuck it. He's out for revenge."

    Dishonored 1 and 2

I love Dishonored, but the story has always been that franchises weakest element so I don't particularly care what they do with the narrative as long as the gameplay stays solid.

    People dislike Fallout 2?

I love Fallout 2 and I honestly go back and forth on which of the two originals I prefer because the original game had an overall more consistent tone, but the second game had far better locations and characters. I do understand the distaste for FO2's humor, but at least they weren't stupid...

    Twin Peaks

Finally got caught up on the new season. It definitely has that "holy shit! Someone actually gave David Lynch money to make this" vibe that has been prevalent throughout his career. I mean that in the best possible way.

It is from a guy who's reputation was partially built on fan films so there ya go. Konami has done more damage to this franchise than this ever could and its a fun quick watch if you know what you're getting into is all I'm saying. They definitely animated on a budget, it reminded me a lot of...

The series knows what it is. Shankar said it was Castlevania by way of Game of Thrones which is exactly what they did with mixed results. Given it's an adaption of a dead IP, I think its serviceable. I'll be checking out the second "season" when it hits.

It was fine for what it was. Adi Shankar is the biggest edgelord in Hollywood these days so if you're familiar with his work and you gauge your expectations, there's fun to be had. Even with its issues, it's still better than this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UN0Te7uTi7o

The Ultimate Movie Thread of Ultimate Destiny

Saw Spider-Man Homecoming with the wife. I was initially dreading it because the majority of franchise films make me want to vomit, but it was a solid teen comedy about Spider-Man. It had an interesting villain with an actual motivation, something the MCU movies have been lacking and it was...

Why is Skyrim so liked and what is there even to do?

I'm always the odd man out when it comes to Bethesda games because I freely admit that Morrowind is the closest thing to a decent game that they have made, but I still don't think it's a particularly good game.

Why is Skyrim so liked and what is there even to do?

That's not a good thing considering the majority of MMO's are exploitive trash.

Why is Skyrim so liked and what is there even to do?

Because it's as wide as an ocean, but as shallow as a puddle. Perfect for baby's first RPG and the mainstream gaming audience of the last decade.
