    Bethesda's Lore Recons

I know you're joking but I actually did find a non-CHA check in game. On the USS Constitution there's a few INT checks for repairing stuff. However even they are badly designed they only require INT 3/5..

So, can we talk about what Fallout 4 does well?

Ah, the S'Lanter. If Brian Freyermuth would've worked on that for Fallout 2 it would've easily fit in with the other stuff you mentioned. Fallout 1, IMO was a little more on the serious side and they definitely would not have merged well with everything else.

    Bethesda's Lore Recons

They were outbid by Bethesda. While I'm sure they wanted it (them being the original developers and all) they just didn't have the money. I'm actually really glad it didn't end with MGS2. Otherwise we'd never got to really know Big Boss.. Or even play as him.

I Think We Need To Realize Something

I'd have to agree with you. Wasteland 2 to me was like a Fallout Tactics with a half passable story. It didn't really compare well against the likes of Fallout 1 & 2 though. But perhaps it's unfair to compare it to them?

The 'MrMattyPlays' Fallout 4 Review "A Near Perfect Game"

Yeah, I'm thinking she's a "Psyker". There's a few people similar to her in other games but I dislike most of them. Only tolerable one was the Master really.

The 'MrMattyPlays' Fallout 4 Review "A Near Perfect Game"

Heh, I've experienced this too. Came back to Sanctuary Hills once to find Mama Murphy wandering around on the roof of a house with no way for her of having got up there.. I built some stairs anyway for the crazy thing to get down should she ever want to..

So what lore has Bethesda done gone fucked up?

Don't get me wrong I hate the whole "Kid in Fridge" thing, too.. but I've wondered.. Would people have took it differently if Fallout 4 had Wild Wasteland trait and that was one of its encounters?

How would you feel about a 3D remake of the first Fallout?

I wouldn't mind a remake too much. I doubt it'd be 100% faithful but still it'd be nice to play Fallout 1 modernized a bit.. Also, I really dislike the Unity engine. Wasteland 2 ran like ass on my computer despite me having above its recommended hardware specifications - even on low settings.

Will we ever get to join the Enclave? Or otherwise explore their organization?

Doubtful. The Enclave really dislikes those that aren't pure humans. And they only consider "pure" humans to be like people in Vault's. Even if someone lived in a Vault all their life it's still possible they wouldn't consider them pure too should they have ever left the Vault. And should they...

So, can we talk about what Fallout 4 does well?

That was a funny set of quests made funnier by the voice actors. One line in particular that I can't get out of my head because it sounded like Engrish: "You sick with fever!"

Why didn't the V13 Overseer send a team out?

Because Vault 13's experiment was a study on prolonged isolation, which the Overseer had orders to follow-through with. Jacoren didn't send groups out at a time in order to minimize going against his orders.

So, can we talk about what Fallout 4 does well?

Yeah I really liked Fallout 4's environment. My only complaint with it is Bethesda populated so much of it with Raiders & Ghouls. It's as if 90% of the Massachusetts population did not die when the bombs fell but instead became Ghouls.

    Fallout 4 is like?.....

That is strangely accurate. I'm a very anti-drug person in real life so I doubt I'd be able to accept that "old friend" as being the person that I once knew. I know Obsidian could probably get him in to rehab if he'd accept it but I don't got high hopes for him to stay clean. :/ Moving on is...

    Bethesda's Lore Recons

I would have to agree. All Vaults being used for some experiment is not only unnecessary but also silly. It implies that Vault-Tec/The Government before the war planned for ALL SURVIVORS to be guinea pigs. Why would they - out of no where - suddenly be evil to their own citizens? The very...

    Pip-boy App

Never used it myself. Only usefulness I've read about it having is by trolling someone with it that's playing Fallout 4.

    Bethesda's Lore Recons

I believe people only thought that because usually there was only silence whenever a Vault asked for assistance or tried to communicate with them. I really like it that way, though. It paints a picture of Vault-Tec/Enclave as secretly monitoring the Vaults for all these years and not giving a...

    The Railroad

I think you're right. On the Institute's terminals you could actually read about all of its various directors proposing and vetoing projects. Source: http://fallout.gamepedia.com/The_Institute_terminals#Research_Proposals (Obvious spoilers) So it would seem Father (and Nate/Nora if they...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

I normally do this myself. I even use Twitch/Youtube to assist me with determining whether or not something is good. But with Fallout 4 I rode the hype train and pre-ordered the game. Would I have still bought the game knowing what I know now? Yeah but only when it was on sale and further...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

No one said it doesn't have problems. On the contrary it has lots. Suspecting people here got it in there head that I think it's a "perfect game!111" when I never said that. Diablo 3's the only one I know of. Hundredth time though it's all personal preference and my $. If I don't wanna use...
