It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

There is no Metacritic Illuminati. You're using the worst source possible to try and back your point. Points have already been made as to why it's bad. It has a little over 5x the positive reviews, though. The percentage of negative reviews is about the same between the two. So uh, any more...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

Yeah they should've included MOST (not all) of the game data on multiple DVD's/a single blu-ray disc. But still there's nothing wrong with them having anti-piracy interests. @DrFallout: As far as I know only the Steam pre-load files got leaked early to the masses. Even if you managed to...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

Do you mistake me for a Bethesda fanboy or something? I only enjoyed Fallout 4. Doesn't mean I like the company. Anyway, yeah even that is worthless. Look at some of the sites that scored New Vegas badly (which made them miss out on that bonus pay.) I don't recognize a lot of them and the...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

You're not understanding my point here. Because of how anyone can just make an account on Metacritic and review something however they like, as many times as they like with multiple accounts whether they own it or not alone makes the site not a credible source for reviews. If you do not see...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

User reviews on Metacritic are 100% worthless; that site doesn't even try to verify that you OWN the game and is susceptible to being spammed by one person with bad reviews. If you want a site with accurate user reviews for Fallout 4 see Steam. At least they verify you bought the game so if...

    Wasted Potential

While I'd liked for more for the Memory Den myself (I love the concept of it) there's actually a little more to it than Kellogg.

Main Questline: Better or worse than Fallout 3's?

A discrepancy sure, but this is shared with the Enclave abducting Vault 13's dwellers in Fallout 2 as well. Don't see anyone crying over their immersion being broken over that..

So, can we talk about what Fallout 4 does well?

Meh. People need to get it through their head that Shaun isn't necessarily "the villain" of the game. It's almost impossible to paint Fallout 4 in black and white. At the very worst the Institute/Shaun are a chaotic neutral type faction. I'd honeslty lump the BoS in there right with 'em.

In the future, will Bethesda be capable to...

I'm really under the impression the canon ending for Fallout 4 will go down as the player NOT siding with BoS and likely with a faction against them. If that does come to pass as I expect you should see BoS weaker on the East side. The mapping in Fallout 4 is just about the best in the series...

    Bethesda's Lore Recons

That is not necessarily a retcon for a few reasons: Kellogg's memories happen 20~30 years before Fallout 2. Assuming the bridge did sustain damage there's time for it to happen. The Golden Gate bridge in Fallout 2 is actually in pretty good condition. So is San Francisco for that matter...

Bethesda: Thanks and Updates for Fallout 4

Yeah I've completed the game twice. It has its share of problems yes but it doesn't bother me as I have grown to expect Fallout games to be buggy until players fix it with mods. As for FNV, it is buggy as well. In fact I gave up on playing through it again before Fallout 4 was released due to...

Main Questline: Better or worse than Fallout 3's?

While it's true he could've been better the story was setup so he has a possibility of coming back in a future DLC should Bethesda pursue it. IMO he honestly deserves some time in the spotlight and a DLC would be perfect for it. In regards to the OP: I believe Fallout 4's questline is superior...

    Cabot House (SPOILERS)

It's weird and cheesey, yeah. But I believe people in this topic are being overly critical of Bethesda because cheesey story elements/characters aren't exclusive to Bethesda made Fallout games. In fact it's a trend that got started in the series in Fallout 2 mostly. Examples: Keeng Ra'at - A...

Bethesda: Thanks and Updates for Fallout 4

Why are you so critical? It's not like Interplay/Obsidian were ever good at releasing bug free games. In fact Fallout 1 & 2 are borderline unplayable if you don't bother getting all the official & unofficial patches.
