    Wastelanders DLC?

With Bethesda's love of insert Lovecraft where it isn't necessary in Fallout, I think they'll claim that FEV is the result of scientists discovering some kind of fluid amidst a set of obelisks in that underground city under Vegas. :jiggy:

    XCOM Chimera Squad

I think the Bureau's bad rep and reception is keeping the worse aspects of the new series in check for now. Iirc, the original intent was to use the Bureau as the original reboot but when it got a bad rep before release, they switched up to Enemy Unknown which worked out extremely well for the...

    XCOM Chimera Squad

From what I have seen and read, this is supposed to be a shorter spin-off budget title rather than a full proper sequel to X-Com 2. After all, the game is only 10 USD on Steam. Speculation around the game believes that this budget title is more of a testing ground for the proper sequel.

    Fallout 76 Wastelander add-on released

 I expected as much. As soon as Beth makes a token attempt to 'fix' their mistake, the collective Fallout tourists will forgive them and praise them for listening to the complaints. Looking at the recent reviews, they look more like joke reviews that are only positive because the...

Why do people think New Vegas was actually good?

Oh hey, another one of these threads. Been a while since we had a troll this blatantly obvious. :hatersgonnahate: Just to throw my hat into the ring on Legion, I was of the opinion that the Legion only worked in their region of the post-War world seeing as they formed amidst societies that had...

    Persona 5

I never thought I'd love using grappling hook ambushes but the status effects it can cause, quite a boon. In fact, status effects are now useful for technicals and now I no longer sacrifice those skills.. Plus the QoL improvements are quite neat and a good fusion alarm may net some endgame...

Metro Exodus : The REAL Wasteland

I got it to work somehow and while I had fun, there is definitely issues. I especially found it annoying that melee take-downs require the prompt to appear so if an enemy has been alerted but is unaware of where you are, the prompt will then have a field day of choosing whether to show or not...

    Fallout 76: Wastelanders releasing soon

While I have, on record, said that Pete is probably the one responsible for the mess Bethesda is in, I can't believe that he is somehow VP of PR with the stuff he has said. And yes, the dislike ratio is even worse.

Ranger Boo's Ramblings: Skyrim’s Positives and (Mostly) Negatives

Replaying Morrowind, I still enjoy the main story's writing, mainly to try to dissect and/or interpret the Rashomon perspective with the story. All the implications and notions raised, all the nuances and flair in it. It makes it easy for me to go back to it and that's not even getting into the...

    Baldur's Gate III

It's not unprecedented seeing as BG2 had an elder brain present in one level. Same, it sort of works for Divinity for me as it does open my mind to dragging a barrel/chest from one area to another due to how much freedom it has but for Baldur's Gate, I do hope they are able to make it feel like...

    Baldur's Gate III

I'm not dismissing the game like people on BG's subreddit (Btw, don't go there, it's a lot of whining about how different the game is from BG1 and BG2). I have seen how much Larian improved DOS2 from pre-Alpha to the final build so I have cautious optimism that they can improve from there. I...

    Baldur's Gate III

Looks interesting though it feels like the game was supposed to be Divinity: Original Sin 3 but has the Baldur's Gate label slapped on it. Larian's recent games have been fun in terms of challenge and quests (especially with some of the solutions and design) so I'll keep an eye out on it.

    Best/Worst video game covers.

Good cover: Sums up the game's setting and conflict rather nicely in my opinion. Bad cover: Nothing quite ruins a cover than having mostly review quotes covering the cover. Good: Man gazing up to the heavens, seemingly gaining some form of insight/knowledge/enlightenment. Bad: "Aw, yiss...

I would like to meet the backer responsible for the Deal with the Devil quest so that I can punch them for such a horrid quest in the game.

I'm currently trying an Empathetic Hobo Apocalypse cop run, my first wound up being an Intelligent Centralist Sorry cop with a hint of capitalism.

Where I play and review the Yakuza series

More Yakuza 7 stuff, the gameplay is different but it looks interesting and entertaining enough to warrant a purchase: Plus their theme song is growing on me: EDIT: Added new theme song video
