    Skyrim Remastered

So given the choice between working on new games and DLC, or making the quick and lazy cash grab, Bethesda picks the quick and lazy cash grab. What a shocker. At least no one can accuse them of underestimating the intelligence of their new console fanbase.

Some Fallout 4 Xbox mods are being stolen from the PC

I mentioned this before, maybe on another thread, but I see Bethesda not charging for the mods themselves, but forcing Beth.net downloaders to pay a subscription fee, for the stated purpose of providing the curation and security they originally promised to provide anyway. In their original paid...

Some Fallout 4 Xbox mods are being stolen from the PC

I wish I could say that I find the entitlement attitude "bizarre", but sadly I'm not surprised in the least by how widespread it seems to be. Doing a bit of poking around, the current argument of the "I don't support stealing mods, but..." crowd seems to be, "The PCMR is a bunch of hypocrites...

Some Fallout 4 Xbox mods are being stolen from the PC

Yeah, that's where I see this going myself. Remember back when Bethesda promised curation of the mods uploaded to their site? They just flat-out lied to all of us once again.

XBone One Fallout 4 Mod Traffic Was Bigger then That Of PC

It could very well be a rumor, and nothing will come of it. We'll just have to wait and see what Bethesda announces at E3. Still, you just know that the marketing people at Bethesda have studied the idea of a Skyrim remaster to death, based solely on the success of the existing game, and they...

XBone One Fallout 4 Mod Traffic Was Bigger then That Of PC

I think they're just blind to how badly they're pissing off the modding community, maybe willfully blind. They probably figure if they can remaster Skyrim, then they can make console mods available for it as well, so console players will rush out and buy millions more copies just so they can...

XBone One Fallout 4 Mod Traffic Was Bigger then That Of PC

It looks like Bethesda is (finally) taking some steps to cut down on the mod theft, pulling some mods that have been repeatedly reported as stolen and banning/suspending some accounts. Of course, nothing will stop the mod thieves from simply making new accounts and reposting their stolen files...

XBone One Fallout 4 Mod Traffic Was Bigger then That Of PC

Something tells me that Bethesda's target audience these days couldn't care less about quest mods, as long as they can continue to get their huge bouncing titties and flopping dongs, their weapons and armors ripped from COD , and their colorful loot piñatas.

    Your favourite Vaults

That was Vault 11 in New Vegas. And it's one of my favorite ones, too.

XBone One Fallout 4 Mod Traffic Was Bigger then That Of PC

It's the exact same shit that happened when Steam started offering mods at the Workshop. Blatant mod theft everywhere, and when Steam finally started cracking down on it (after mod makers got Bethesda to intervene on their behalf), nothing but abuse and screaming and defending mod theft by the...

XBone One Fallout 4 Mod Traffic Was Bigger then That Of PC

Didn't Bethesda completely overhaul the Skyrim Papyrus scripting engine for FO4, and haven't they still not released the new script compiler? I thought I read something about that here a few weeks ago.

XBone One Fallout 4 Mod Traffic Was Bigger then That Of PC

Just my guess, but "just the beginning" ends with lots and lots and lots of dollar signs dancing in their heads. I don't think (???) they're dumb enough to try the paid mods thing they floated about a year ago, but I could easily see them turning Bethesda.net into a subscription-only enterprise...

XBone One Fallout 4 Mod Traffic Was Bigger then That Of PC

They "conveniently" forgot to note the fact that most PC users would rather get their mods from the Nexus than deal with the censored crap Bethesda's hosting on their buggy, ugly, utterly wretched Bethesda.net site. ETA - they also "conveniently" forgot to mention that that traffic pretty much...

The music of Fallout 4: A dissappointment aswell

Most of the Inon Zur tracks I remember from New Vegas were just recycled from Fallout 3, and mixed in with the Mark Morgan tracks from the original games.

    Your favourite politicians

Unfair, yeah. But that doesn't mean it won't happen. A night or two before the election in 2000, Al Gore's campaign leaked a story about a DUI that George W. Bush got back in 1976, 24 years prior. That likely cost Bush just enough support to cause the recount fiasco in Florida.

Can mods and DLC save it?

One of the big "tells" about Fallout 4, at least to me, was the explosion of mods that came out right after release, months before the official modding tools were released. It happens with every Bethesda game, but I had never seen the volume of early mods that Fallout 4 generated, and it wasn't...

Fallout 4 getting increasingly negative reviews

I can't make it more than about 50 to 60 hours into the game before I get bored and start losing interest. I'm on my second try at pushing further into it, but haven't even touched it in almost a week. I've started a new Witcher 3 playthrough instead.

Two more pieces of Wasteland Workshop DLC incoming

In a way I'm almost relieved at that. I've been expecting them to release a DLC set in the Mojave for no other purpose than to completely retcon New Vegas out of the series, just because they can. If they don't or can't release another large DLC then that's off the table.

    Whats in your Inventory?

For NV, most of my armor would come from mods. But once I finished Dead Money, the fully modded holorifle was something that I never left home without.
