    [Serious] Fallout 4 DLC Ideas

Right, I was definitely born after that period, is there exact years you can name just so I can research this fabled time for myself?

    [Serious] Fallout 4 DLC Ideas

Okay, okay, I never said Bethesda or BioWare were good examples of what to do when it comes to sacrificing RPG depth for money. Softworks and EA clearly aren't trying to push the money towards better storytelling, that's for sure. It's just - not every developer can or should do what Obsidian...

    Automatron dlc looks completely boring

The target audience for Fallout 4 are the kind who would call NMA a haven for nerds. Which is, to be fair, extremely correct , but if you'll excuse my usage of this term, Fallout used to be a game for nerds, so it's kind of disingenuous to try and tear it away from being one.

Anyone else hate the Nostalgia Argument?

Best proof - Pillars of Eternity. Released in 2015, which was last year, but there are still people saying that nostalgia is the only reason why people thought that game was good. Some even say Pillars of Eternity was "overrated", you'll probably get a few laughs out of that. All the old RPGs...

    Fallout 4 is really disappointing.

This is what happens when you introduce army depots that hold nukes into the campaign without some sort of convenient factor that makes the nukes inaccessible, silly man. Okay, okay, I'm not qualified to talk about this since I've never tried my hand at pen-and-paper RPGs. But that's...

Even after Fallout 4, many fans still asking for an Obsidian developed Fallout

Alright, then. If you aren't lazy, why don't you work on this petition yourself? It does not takes an entire team to organise a single petition. Start the entire petition, by yourself, and then people will take you seriously and help you spread the petition. Until then, do not run around until...

    The NCR Ending Is Canon

Being remembered as the man/woman to eliminate Mr House and gain control of his army seems vastly more influential than taking up Mr House's identity. There seems to be less House supporters than there are anti-House activists, and there's even a chance House supporters might be intimidated...

Even after Fallout 4, many fans still asking for an Obsidian developed Fallout

Uh, what. I'm not really on @DirtyOldShoe's side either but out of this whole charade you're the only one who has nothing to offer.

Anyone else hate the Nostalgia Argument?

Okay, here's my perspective take on this. If anyone feels there are any incorrect parts, feel free to correct me. For the sake of this message, let's call the majority of the Bethesda fanbase "Group B", and the pro-Obsidian, old Fallout enthusiast that makes up most of NMA "Group A"...

Even after Fallout 4, many fans still asking for an Obsidian developed Fallout

Yeah, I agree. You don't try and "fix" a trainwreck, you just build a new train. I would prefer a whole new IP is made, with its own identity, even if it's unofficially known as Fallout 1/2's spiritual successor. Okay, what? No offense, just thoroughly confused. Is there something...

    [Serious] Fallout 4 DLC Ideas

Ironically, I end up reading subtitles instead of listening in voiced RPGs anyway, because exposition dumps in fictional accents are hard to comprehend for long periods of times. You do realise that a vast majority of gamers hates being told to use their own imagination when it comes to video...

    Public Ban Logs?

You mean the petition part? Got hired as moderator by petitioning to ban someone who broke forum rules, right?

    Automatron dlc looks completely boring

"Michael Bay directs Fallout" is what Fallout 4 basically is anyways, so it's appropriate.

What is it with Bethesda and nonsensical settlements?

Huh. Call me an idiot if you like, because I am, but while I enjoyed Dragon Age: Origins' writing I always sucked at the game. Uh, it never occured to me to play it like a real-time-with-pause game fully zoomed out, akin to how Baldur's Gate is played. Come to think of it, I failed...

    Automatron dlc looks completely boring

Never been a fan of games with the anime art style, but I have indeed played a bit of Valkyria Chronicles, and the latest one is just trying to ape the upcoming Final Fantasy. Yes, Japan do have their own bands of "make everything like what we like, more action less thinking" majorities too...

Poll: Could they make you come back?

They could, but if I have to download more than ten mods just to make the game playable, I would rather just stick to games I enjoy. People say "New Vegas was awesome with mods" but the thing is New Vegas was also awesome without mods, and I can't really say the same for Fallout 4.

What is it with Bethesda and nonsensical settlements?

First step is they need to get rid of that engine they're fruitlessly trying to drag into this generation. Civil wars that define the future of a nation consisted of eight-versus-eight skirmishes and that was not okay. They can't figure out the scale of their "cities" have as many people as...

    Automatron dlc looks completely boring

You know, Gunslinger was one of the actually good FPS games released in recent years that are actually good, as opposed to health-regeneration linear-corridor hand-holding "FPS" games that the Call of Duty franchise has forced everyone to emulate. But in that sense, back then, Fallout 3 was...

    Automatron dlc looks completely boring

I also wish that finding the cure to cancer and achieving world peace will be done within this year. Well, I assume we all want that, but I'm sure there's a couple of hidden lurkers around here who probably think the world would be better off imbalanced with real RPGs only and that...

    Fallout 4 is really disappointing.

But technically, if someone called it a cocktail, they wouldn't be wrong. They would be the kind I would want to punch in the face, but hey they wouldn't be wrong. Alright, I have to ask, out of blazing curiosity. I've never played any of them, but how many of you have ever played those...
